My rating has two parts, the first isn't so great after a tumultuous first year with Romans I was left feeling incredibly frustrated, neglected and hopeless. With issues raised when we had first moved in still not being solved or any progress taken months later. Fast forward to this last month and my experience with Roman's has flipped 180! As soon as Jack Cracknell became our property manager I have had fantastic communication, fast actions and immediate steps to resolve any issues or queries I have had. He has been faultless every step of the way and I cannot rate him high enough! He approached my grumpy and frustrated attitude at the beginning with professionalism, empathy, and friendliness. He's a cracking guy and I hope all other property managers at Romans takes note! It is such a shame that I had such a negative experience from the start as Jack deserves nothing but 5 stars.

Romans has a great team of property agents. When I arrived Maidenhead in July this year, I rented an apartment through them and the property was great, furnished and convenient. After that I bought a house through their sales team, they worked hard to fight for the deadline of stamp duty holiday for me. As I needed to move out after handover of the house, they even helped to find a tenant to take over my rental period. Can't believe all these things were happened in less than half year. I can say they are incredible agents. Worth to introduce. 👍

Rarely give out 1 star. Really unprofessional lettings team and making the letting system a wild wild west . I booked a viewing and there wasn’t any communication sent to me to confirm it on the day . I could not reach out to them and had finally got a confirmation while commuting from london that they cant show it, that too by email after I chased them multiple times. They never apologised for this. I live in London and had issue travelling once and had to miss an appointment and spoke over phone. They spammed my mailbox with ads but declined to show any flat afterwards. Charlie from Romans declined to show any more properties to us on call and his tone was.. “Do you remember K**r*n?” Because you cancelled last time we will not show you other flats. Well grow up kids, its an essential service and you are causing someone serious trouble with your childish attitude during a pandemic. You should be put out of business for such behaviour and prohibited to operate in this area.NegativeProfessionalism

Shocking estate agents very rude when u go into there office to discuss an issue with a property one particular staff member was very rude and his tone was aggressive which there was no need I didn't even speak to him I was speaking with a lady he rudely butted in when it wasnt his right to do they never get things sorted when requested and not a nice company to deal with my advice is stay well clear

We are very glad that the Roman's team gave an excellent service in helping us find our first home in Maidenhead. Gemma was able to identify the property we would like after the first discussion. Charlie showed us the home even though it was after office hours. He was there whenever we had questions to get answers. He ensured that the transition and support during his holidays was seamless. If you're looking for an esatate agent that make you feel completely less than human, then this is the best place for you. From not having the house cleaned before I moved in (during a pandemic), to sending a contractor to fix our boiler that ended up making it worse. Leaving us with no hot running water and no heating in -1 weather for 4 days. I offered options to find a contractor to fix the boiler and they reiembure me, they said no, I asked if they can get me a hotel as the house uninhabitable, they said no. I have Anemia and my body can't deal with cold weathers. Romans do not care if I die over this weekend. So again if you want an estate agent that do not care about your life, and make you feel completely less than human then please use Romans.Just to add I pay rent every month, I've never been late and they cant be bothered to ensure my health is ok.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Just wanted to give some feedback ref to Maidenhead Romans estate agents team. They have been absolutely fantastic in terms of helping their local community throughout the pandemic, especially with the home schooling. They have really put them selves out there for offering support in terms of Homeschooling via the local community support groups on social media as well as via notices outside of their office. The help the Maidenhead Romans team gave parents and care givers of children during such unseen times was amazing. Being new to the country, it is not that easy to settle down having no EU address or bank account. Thanks to Romans and particularly Mr. Ingram, I was able to find a reasonable accommodation and complete my administrative tasks in just 10 days. If I would have to go through the process again, I'd call Romans or drop them an email right upon my arrival, as that would save me few days of internet search and some hundreds of pounds spent on temporary accommodation in a hotel. Now I am about to move into my first home in the UK, thanks Romans!
