Had a viewing today at 16:05 been waiting at the address at 15:55 had to ring another Branch at Burnham to get any contact and rang the sales team to speak to somebody about the viewing and the sales team was rude to me at the Maidenhead branch as I was not told I had to pay for parking to view this property! Absolutely rude agents and I rang more than 10 times no answer and on 2 different phones. I am trying to work with you guys and nobody had told me that I needed to pay for parking to view this property. It might cost a couple of quid to park to view the property but why am I not being made aware of this

Myself and my partner had to find somewhere to live extremely fast, we contacted Jessica at Roger Platt Maidenhead and arranged a viewing the same day, we were able to move into our new place only 7 days later! Jessica worked very closely with us and guided us every step of the way to make this possible. As first time renters we were very unsure on the processes but Jessica always made us feel at ease and as though everything was taken care of. I never imagined that we would be able to move into a place of our own so soon and so we are extremely grateful for all of Jessica's hard work and commitment towards making this happen for us. Should have gone with Roger Platt from the beginning! Petra and the team were fantastic. They were showing suitable, qualified buyers our property and helping us successfully navigate several offers until we reached the price we needed in order to sell. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Roger Platt estate agency. Their management and customer service are abysmal, zero communication and terrible organization. They committed to showing us a property, only to agree the let with another buyer before our scheduled appointment to see the property. I'd rate them zero stars if possible. Their response to the inconvenience was a mere "sorry," with no accountability for their actions. Shocking and unprofessional.

We have recently sold our house through roger platt and the service was second to none. They work on a team basis so every time you called in whoever you spoke with knew exactly what was happening with the sale and all staff were hugely helpful. A special shout out has to go to Philippa. Our sale was complicated and lengthy and involved two different buyers. Philippa was literally with us every step of the way and to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement. She chased through the chain constantly, was available whenever we needed and was always willing to listen to concerns and work towards solutions. Selling your home and buying a new one is daunting and we never felt alone in the process. We have recently used Roger Platt for a property we are purchasing. We initially dealt with Nick for the viewing and making an offer stage. We were really impressed with how much information Nick gave us about the property when we viewed it, especially when we compared this to other viewings we had with other local agents who just walked us around in silence! For the rest of the process we have dealt with Philippa. She was professional, responsive and highly driven to get the purchase over the line. We had a number of challenges along the way and she was always able to offer other solutions to try and get problems resolved. Philippa always calls back on the day you call, explains clearly the processes and communicates with all of the professionals in the process to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible. We purchased a home through Roger Platt. I wont go into specifics around the actual purchase - but it was a very long process - due to many different aspects of the sale. Philippa Scott was my shining light throughout the whole process which lasted 6 months! We finally got our keys on Friday last week and I can honestly say that I feel as though I have also made a friend along the way! Philippa is extremely professional, patient, calm, pro-active, friendly - SHE IS JUST THE BEST! If it wasnt for her, Im not too sure where we would be at this point! We had the pleasure of dealing with Roger Platt when we recently purchased our new house. We found RP to be exceptionally accommodating and informative - the agent who initially showed us round was only too happy to answer any questions and we didn't feel pressured or hurried around (which we had experienced with other agents). After we had submitted our offer the team were very diligent and thorough and always responded promptly - I have seen a number of reviews online saying that RP have too many properties to dedicate enough time to each one however this is completely contrary to our experience. Special mention to Philippa who went above and beyond to make the purchasing process as seamless as possible and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. I was first introduced to Nick at Roger Platt when I bought my home 18 years ago. Through the years Nick has been my property go to and I put my faith in him and the team at Roger Platt when the time came to sell. I have now discovered the magic runs through the entire Roger Platt team. Nick, courteous and trustworthy as ever. Connor and Petra conducted safe and efficient viewings. From what I could overhear, they covered every point I wanted and more. A buyer was found and price agreed within 10 days of the property going live! William was excellent at critical times of negotiation and Philippa did the most difficult job of getting the sale to go through. I can't thank Philippa enough for helping me to find a removal company at short notice, they turned out to be the best in regards to availability, service and value. On completion day, Nick stepped up again and helped with meter readings after I'd locked myself out and was a few junctions down the M4! What I've said here might (or might not) be common in other High Street agents, so my highest recommendation really comes down to how the staff made me feel at every point. They made me feel I was in safe hands and not alone. They gave me a lot of their time, were patient with me and incredibly supportive during this unsettling period of selling and moving home and I am very happy to recommend them.PositiveProfessionalism

We wanted to view a Maidenhead property but didn't get past the initial finance "chat". Roger Platt only want wage earners as I guess they fit their spreadsheet model. Don't bother if you are retired and using savings/investments to fund your rent as "they can't be counted", despite savings literally being available money. Obviously have enough eager clients that they don't have to try with a telephone manner verging on rude.

In December I approached Roger Platt to possibly list our large house in Stokenchurch. Due to the size, price, and condition of the property, I was advised to speak with Rob Hibberdine, the Land Director as it would be a more difficult item to sell. An open day was organised for viewings and over 14 couples attended. Within a week we had agreed on an offer, which was over the asking price. Rob discussed between the purchasers and ourselves all the requirements for the solicitors and a 60-day completion was set. Everything has gone smoothly and we exchange and completed it on Thursday. Rob and his team have been great and I would highly recommend the Maidenhead Branch to all my friends if they are looking to sell a property.

My wife and I are deeply indebted to Robert Hibberdine and his team at Roger Platt for the support and assistance provided during the purchase of our new house in Maidenhead. Through his personal endeavours in particular we were able to finally move into the property in early June 2019. Operating as the Agent of a new-build property is always very difficult and the problems experienced by Robert and his team were not insignificant. Our only issue related to the timing of our decision to purchase the new house. In retrospect it might have been more appropriate to delay marketing the property at a time when their was more certainty with respect to a completion date. Nevertheless, Rob and his team should be applauded for their conscientious and professional approach in operating as the interface between my wife and myself and the developer. We wish Roger Platt and, in particular, Rob and his team, continued success in the Estate Agency Business.
