A great service from both the rental and sales side of this branch. Always kept up to date with proceedings and queries were dealt with efficiently and smoothly. Some tricky circumstances during the rental period but these guys were amazing- thanks Ewan! Matt kept in touch during the sale period and gave some great advice. If you want efficient, value for money service then these guys are the ones for you

Had a terrible experience with this business several years ago. We rented a property only to find out part way through the tenancy that the landlord hadn’t been paying the mortgage (which wasn’t BTL) and we had to leave before the tenancy ran out as the property was in the process of being repossessed, when I challenged why they hadn’t carried out even the most basic of checks on the landlord I was told nothing to do with me. Northwood completely washed their hands of the situation and refused to even refund any of our fees even though the Director Ewan agreed to do so. No integrity whatsoever. Much better agents out there to choose from.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

I have worked with Northwood for over 15 years - as a landlord and also to sell two houses. I would recommend them without hesitation. Matt Evans at the Macclesfield branch is fantastic - he is very competent and positive, which obviously helps with the stress of moving house. I sold one of the houses within 2 weeks of it being on the market.

I have had 2 tenants, that’s used this agent to move to a new house, due to the sale of mine. Northwood’s have taken money and then left them with out a home. I would avoid at all costs, I am currently helping them find a new home. Ewan the director has show how poor the service is with a member of staff leaving because of how he acts (in her words “This office is shocking and not worth my time”)
