GoogleAs a landlord of multiple properties in Macclesfield, I would not recommend any landlord to use this agency. They marked one of my properties "let" as soon as someone showed interest and did not show it to anyone else. The "tenants" pulled out two days before the tenancy was due to start on 18 March when the lockdown was annouced. With no signed agreement and no deposit this let a huge fianancial void for me. Then when a new tenant was found they refused to carry out the inventory on the day of the move in, the inventory was done 2 weeks before move in and did not reflect the condition the property was let. When I complained about this, Ewan (the head of lettings) asked me to collect my keys right away. Unprofessional and rude! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI would recommend Libby and her Northwood team to everyone needing an outstanding and professional Estate Agent. Our sale to a cash buyer was going smoothly until the buyer decided they would no longer pay cash. Libby went into overdrive, chasing down the chain, identifying and removing blockages. GoogleThe most useless estate agents I have ever been in contact with. Was dealt with by Ewan Macphee, who was extremely unresponsive, unhelpful, wouldn't call, and was unprofessional. Had to repeatedly email to get a response from him, although he never replied to my last email over a house I was interested in. Would not recommend advertising your house through them, considering Ewan is the director.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I would give special thanks to Mark Norbury who was our agent and managed the property during our stay. Northwood always promises the best houses in Macclesfield and meets its expectations. GoogleI have worked with Northwood for over 15 years - as a landlord and also to sell two houses. I would recommend them without hesitation. Matt Evans at the Macclesfield branch is fantastic - he is very competent and positive, which obviously helps with the stress of moving house. I sold one of the houses within 2 weeks of it being on the market.
