GoogleThe experience was satisfactory and the staff friendly but there are improvements to be made. There is rarely anyone in the office and messages or emails need to be left so they can get back to you. This can take rather a long time! The staff seem knowledgeable but I was limited to viewing a property when the tenant was available to show me around. The agent could have done it.

GoogleBrilliant, easy, high-quality experience. I recently sold a flat in Macclesfield through GH. During the inital 'consultation', Matt viewed my property. Owing to Matt being very well prepared (having completed research of similar sales and recent property prices in the area beforehand, having lived experience from within and around Macclesfield, and having also being trusted to manage a number of sales of other flats within the same building recently) we agreed a listing price very quickly and easily. Photos and a subsequent, high-quality listing quickly followed and my property was offered on in a short timeframe at the target price. My case was then handed over to Georgia, who, thoughout the whole experience thereafter, was fantastic. She was proactive, had truly great communication and was of great assistance with managing the buyer/seller relationship. She made everything very easy for me, and I felt like my proerty transaction was in very safe hands with her. I would highly recommend GH for anyone selling property in Macclesfield, as they show a high level of pride and quality in their service and own the jobs they sign up to.

Google0 Stars would be a more suitable review, if the agent would have introduced himself to my partner before the viewing began I would be able to highlight his representation on the company but unfortunately he didn't even bother do to that, this gentleman met my partner who is looking to buy houses for investment purposes, the agent was lazy and had no information regarding the property, never mind even having keys to show him around the place! This terrible viewing ended in the agent telling my partner he is going to grab the 'keys' for an area that is locked, come to find that the agent had disappeared? Completely unprofessional and should be ashamed. If your staff are not trained enough they should not be sent out to guide CASH buyers through viewings. Won't be bothering looking for investment opportunities with Gascoigne again .

The sale of my house took place during very difficult circumstances as the U.K. AND ISLE Of MAN were in lock down during different periods during the sale process .I couldn’t visit the property. The property had been rented with Gascoigne Halman for 12 Year before I sold it . The asking price was set at a good level the brochure was produced in a couple of daysand the sale proceeded well .The first buyers who bought the house within days they couldn’t get the mortgage they needed so the house went back on the market and sold again within a relatively short period of time in 5 months Oct to March the whole process was completed.I was kept up to date with emails and phone calls every time there was a viewingI had dealings with mainly one sales person James but when he was off others kept me informed Sue the sales secretary was also good at answering queries connected with the sales process. As I was at a distance I used a solicitor recommended by GH and was pleased with there services I also used an insurance company that was local.During the cold spell when prospective buyers visited James made sue the house was warm enough to prevent issues with burst pipes I was also alerted to problems with the loft door and garage door and was then able to use GH property maintenance to solve several issues.I think James gave the sale a personal touchFor me the all round service GH provided was very helpful in difficult working circumstances .I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them

Frances Mason used our family to pump up other offers for the seller. She confirmed after a long and arduous process we'd had our offer accepted. She then encouraged the vendor and buyers carry on viewings in our opinion to gazump us. She knowing didn't send out a memorandum of sale to us for 5 days whilst getting other parties to outbid us. After we paid for searches etc Frances informed us someone had come in with another bid.......from there played us off as an auction for bidding. Then told us we didn't get the house. The next day it was put as STC for the other buyer. Something she refused to do for us in 5 days. She openly admitted on the phone she knew of another bid hence when she didn't do the memorandum of sale.She let us pay for searches while using us a pawn. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of company. There was no remorse and I don't know how she sleeps at night for a little but extra of commission.Openly trying to get improved offers and more viewing whilst sending us acceptance confirmation and letting us pay fees is a very very underhanded trick.

GoogleWe have recently sold two properties through Gascoigne Halman Macclesfield. Angela Payne, who ran both of the sales for us, was brilliant. She was constantly on top of all the details, kept us regularly up to date with what was going on and looked after the interests of both ourselves and the buyers brilliantly. We'd happily recommend Gascoigne Halman and Angela to anyone thinking of selling or buying in the area.

What went wrong? Well I was advised by this agency that the property had come off the market once my holding deposit was paid. Upon submitting my credentials for referencing which was with let alliance, I was advised by "Charlotte" a representative at Gascoigne Halman that the landlord has gone with another offer and would rather refund my holding deposit then proceed with my application. Honestly Disappointed with the service provided by this agency. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING WITH THIS AGENCY
