GoogleMy partner and I recently completed on our first house with the process being looked after by Georgia Day from Gascoigne Halman. The service and support throughout was second to none. Georgia was great throughout and regularly touched base so we knew what was happening during the whole process. Any queries were addressed promptly which helped to keep it straightforward. Would definitely recommend Gascoigne Halman in Macclesfield.

From arranging the viewings, providing feedback and in particular the close follow up during the actual sale process which was complex due to the chain. Georgia kept us up to date all the time and actively chased other parties in the chain to ensure things moved along as quickly as possible.

GoogleGeorgia was so supportive throughout our purchase. She co-ordinated solicitors and other estate agents to make sure that our sale went through at the first opportunity. She kept us updated with the progress of the chain and helped us through the stressful twists and turns of house buying. I wouldn’t consider using another estate agent in the future.

TrustpilotPoor service and disappointing behaviour after tenancy agreement
After completing our tenancy with Gascoigne halman. Despite leaving the property in what we believed to be a clean and acceptable condition. We received a £550 deposit claim, including charges for cleaning (£250), decoration and painting (£150), and a radiator leak (£115). I have rented this apartment for 1 year.When we first moved into the property, it was in poor condition and had a noticeable odour. We raised this with the agency several times, but no action was taken.

GoogleHighly recommend Gasgoine Halman in Macclesfield. Lisa has been so accommodating with viewings to fit around our work and childcare commitments and even held our new baby so we were able to have a good look at the houses :) We are now in our new home within 5 weeks of our first viewing. Lisa has always been on call for any questions we had and if for any reason she was with another customer, Ester was there to help and was extremely helpful and kind. Fab ladies and would absolutely recommend them. Thank you!!!

GoogleAfter 3 aborted sales with Purple Bricks which consumed 14 stressful months due to lack of support, wrong price, no vetting of purchasers, etc., etc. I decided to use Gascoigne Halman in Macclesfield to sell our house. Within 1 week Matthew Clark, Carly and the team had vetted a new purchaser who was right for our property, truly had the funds, and was highly likely to follow through to completion (which they did). I can't recommend Gascoigne Halman enough for their proactive advice and follow-up, aiding the purchaser and keeping me informed. I found them friendly and easy to communicate with. No waiting for someone to answer the phone for inquiries and prompt replies on email. When the exchange of contacts and completion time came, they helped pressure crucial solicitor communication so that we met the target dates keeping me (the seller) and the purchaser happy. I can't recommend Gascoigne Halman in Macclesfield enough. Thanks folks, you deserve the credit, and will be using you again for another property sale.

As per all the other negative reviews - terrible communication - poorly written emails, unprofessional in manner and just awful to deal with. From moving into property, water pressure issues and constant cold showers. After months of back and forth was told (by a manager) 'oh well you are on a rolling contract, so you can just find another property' as appose to just having the issue fixed? Turns out it was a pump needed for the boiler, and of course the landlord did not want to pay as it was 'expensive'. It wasn't. Paying over a grand a month for no hot showers and terrible management is expensive. Clearly they prioritise landlords and not tenants. We left as suggested and do not recommend for renting at all - save your self the stress and sour puss faces.

GoogleWe recently purchased a property through Gascoigne Halman Macclesfield. All the team gave an outstanding service. Çommunication with all staff was straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble when booking in to view property,they made it easy for us to view property .Some other agents in the area made it difficult for us to view houses so this was noticed by us in particular . Matthew, (the manager) helped both the Vendor and ourselves iron out and resolve a tricky situation. He helped us all navigate a seamless transition of sale and purchase. Everything could have just fallen apart during one part of the transaction ,but Matthew ,having much wisdom along with a calm professional manner played a key role in driving the sale and purchase to a positive conclusion. We would definitely use them to sell our house in the future because they are a safe pair of hands.Thank you 🙏 ps It was nice of them to give us a moving in card ,a new keyring with our new house keys on all complete with a small branded bag that we will use to shop and advertise Gascoigne Halman in the Macc area . Ha 😆
