Haart, was excellent throughout the process of selling our property. From start to finish, Marcus and Manny, communicated clearly and we closed a sale within the first week of our property being on the market at asking price. It was a challenging process for us, as our buyer kept moving the goal posts on timelines, but Marcus and Manny managed the situation and brought the deal in. Highly recommend them. I had to relocate to another country at the last minute, and went for the full management option to allow one less stress on my mind. At this stage they were great. A few months in, there was an issue with the boiler, they sent an engineer. I asked them to tell me the name of the part that was faulty exactly as I have insurance. They never got back to me, and when they did, they said the tenant was struggling without heating/hot water. To save the tenant from further burden I told them to go ahead with the boiler. When my new tenants moved in, the boiler broke again?! But I had paid 400 pounds approx to get it fixed. When I asked Haart for the report, so I could see if it was the same issue as before (which would mean, their handy man didnt know what he was doing). I never got the report. After countless emails/chase-ups. The reason I went with Haart was because I wanted the 6 month check so that my property was being looked after, especially as I am abroad. I made this clear when signing the contract. At 7/8 months, I asked if/when the check would be done. They said due to covid they no longer do this service. I then questioned what exactly was I paying so much money for per month? Because all they did was collect the money, send it to me with fee's taken out, and send me ridiculous reports for tax which cost 120 (on top of what I was paying?!). They had nothing to say except that they collect my rent. I told them, I would manage the property myself. They then asked for 1 months fee to break the contract! I challenged this, and they didn't budge. I paid this as at this point their attitude was horrific. I then asked for the TDS to be transferred to me so I could manage it with my tenant when they leave. And asked Haart to confirm to the tenant the new bank account they needed to send the money too, as the tenant (and rightly so) said they wanted confirmation from Haart to avoid potential fraud situations etc. For the next 3 months, Haart continued to collect my money, post contract break AND take fee's. I challenged this, and they never got back to me. They would never return my calls, answer my emails, nothing. I ended up raising complaints, and nothing. In the end I stuck it out as my tenants left, charged them for the damage they caused in the property, waited 1 month for Haart to release the deposit to the tenant and I. And will now raise this with ombudsman office. From July 2021 - November 2021, post contract break. I can say that I have never worked with such a disrespectful and unprofessional agency. I will never go back to them, and never advise anyone to deal with them. They are happy to take your money, and boast about their company, but once you need help on the other side they are no where to be found. I have kept all phone logs and emails as evidence. This period, especially dealing with it abroad truly was traumatic.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
