Such a poor Experience I had, I will NEVER use Sarah Mains again, Sarah Mains dealt with both sales and purchase of my properties and from the first day I had nothing but issues, consisting on contacting my ex-partner to give her sensitive details she should not of been made aware of by “mistake”, Serious Data protection failures by sending all my bank details to a property I didn’t live at, Promised call backs from mangers that have never happened, Promise refunds in 24 hours that took 3 weeks to be credited back, after agreeing a mortgage to buy the new property and arranging a further viewing being contacted the day after to ask how I was planning on buying this ? And if I’d like to put an offer in (on the property id already arranged to buy), completing my agreement in principle for me and putting incorrect address on this form. Failing to tie the sale and purchase dates together which nearly resulted in my selling my home and not having anywhere else to go to. Contacting numerous agents who didn’t know what their complaint process was, after 3 months and solicitors involved eventually getting the compliant raised and closed and this was only due to contacting director of company. Appalling Unprofessional company, I will never ever return

I would highly recommend using Sarah Mains. My property went on the market at the start of February which received lots of viewings and offers. I recently accepted an offer that I was delighted with. This is down to the fantastic customer service I received from Chris Huddleston and Donna Rowell at the Low Fell branch. The communication was outstanding - always keeping me in the picture and very efficient. These two are a credit to the company. Thanks again.

I thought selling my house would be incredibly stressful. Sarah Mains however went out of their way to make things as straightforward as possible. Staff went the extra mile, even taking photos on their day off so that marketing wouldn’t be delayed, and sold my house for the full asking price within 24 hours. Communication is clear, all staff I speak to are friendly, competent and able to answer my queries straight away making sure that the paperwork isn’t unnecessarily delayed. By far the most efficient estate agents I have dealt with.

I had the best service from Sarah Mains Low Fell when I was selling my property. They were so friendly and accurate. They constantly kept me up to date with the progress and if there was any issues were straight on the phone to me. I would recommend them to anyone. I even applied for a Job with them after seeing first hand how they work and thought it would be a fantastic place to work. I would recommend them to everyone

Although not dealing directly with Sarah Mains in Gateshead, we did seek out the services of there in house independent mortgage advisor Thelma Bell. We used her five years ago and got a great deal, so sought her out, and yet again, she did a great job. Cannot recommend her highly enough, cannot fault anything, explained everything very clearly, everything is now set up, and no hidden charges. Will be returning to her in the future. Very very happy customer.

Over the last 5 years, I have dealt with 6 different estate agents and I can say without doubt that the team at Sarah Mains, Low Fell Branch are by far the best I have encountered. From the first contact with Kelly, the survey/valuation meeting with Richard and the updates from Lorraine the whole team exemplified true professionalism. Their knowledge of the local property market proved to be second to none resulting in a successful sale within 8 days from the first meeting, at the target asking price. A superb result delivered by a dedicated team of professionals who not only know their stuff but also know how to deliver a great customer experience. There are other agents out there. None are better.

We’ve sold two houses in the past 2 years with Sarah Mains, and purchased one. Brilliant team who provided support for us every step of the way. Particular mention goes to Sharon Lambert of the sales progression team. Sharon helped us so much in the final stages of conveyancing, she was an invaluable contact particularly in the last 5/6 weeks, and helped keep the chain moving. Nothing was too much trouble to Sharon and she called us back as promised, every time, without fail. Would certainly recommend Sarah Mains.

We received a fantastic service from Sarah Mains. The minute we met Claire, who did the valuation we knew we would get a great service. Our sale was initially looked after by Kelly and Lorraine, who were both extremely professional and friendly, and offered a great service. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we had to withdraw our property from the market. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah Mains to sell your property, and if we ever decide to sell again we wouldn't go anywhere else

My husband and I would highly recommend using Sarah Mains (Low Fell) as an estate agent. Every member of staff that we interacted with was professional, friendly and honest. Dawn, our valuer, made us feel very comfortable upon entering our home. She took the time to meet our family and really understand what we wanted from this process. The photos she took of our home for the sales brochure were fantastic! Throughout the sale, Chris, who acted as our sales negotiator, was equally as supportive and efficient as Dawn and ensured that he shared his knowledge and expertise with us at every step of the way. A huge thank you to Sarah Mains (Low Fell) and the team for guiding us through the buying and selling process. I am posting this review to say how outstandingly helpful and professional the service we have received from Sarah Mains has been and that I could not fault them in anyway and will be unreservedly recommending them to all my family and friends. Helen's warm, enthusiastic and prompt attention in emailing us houses of interest, arranging viewings and showing us around several properties and informing us that our offer had been accepted was impressive and reliable. Sharon Lambert's 'After Sales' service was outstanding. Nothing was too much bother and she kept us constantly informed, often daily, of the progress of our purchase with regular updates of anything the solicitors required. Sadly we decided not to proceed with this purchase due to outside factors but I must stress that this was nothing to do with Sharon who indeed could not have tried harder to try to resolve our concerns, reduce our stress and keep everything moving forward smoothly with her excellent knowledge, advice, tact and suggestions. You won't be disappointed with this Estate Agent's friendly service and I can honestly say when any of their staff say they will do something it is done both quickly and accurately which we really appreciated and in this day and age found so refreshing !!!! Thank you to everyone we dealt with in the Low Fell branch for your 'nothing's too much bother' efforts and upbeat help and guidance. Hopefully we will find another house to buy soon from Sarah Mains as you certainly are more than happy to go that extra mile and are great and hassle free to deal with. Halfway through ending our tenancy, our property management was handed over to a new contact in the company. This contact was rude, spoke to me over the phone in a patronising tone when asking end of tenancy questions, and gave me wrong information about my refund. Very thankful to not have to deal with this company anymore. I've had no bother with other letting agencies but there was a bad case of miscommunication within this company.

I can't say I've ever dealt with Sarah Mains Property to be honest, but that's because they don't seem to answer the phone, or respond to messages or emails. They do seem to set house prices extremely high comparatively in the market and likewise have extremely high fees (highest by far in area). They appear to be very 'old school' agents in that regard, I don't know how they are selling houses in the current climate.
