This used to be amazing- not anymore!

I lived here for over 2 years as an ambassador assisting with curating events and supporting the community and management. And for the first year, I had the most amazing time. It was a great place to live. Yes it’s a super tiny room (be aware- apparently this size room is smaller than a prison cell lol!) but with the right management of events and communal areas (for the right person), wanting to be part of a community- that doesn’t matter.

Worst online shopping experience ever

Worst online shopping experience ever. Amount got deducted from my credit card but order did not get placed with them. Bank has confirmed that payment has been credited to them. Have been following up with their customer support team for 2 weeks now. Absolutely unresponsive on both calls and email. Claiming to be such a high end outlet, they have the worst customer support. Take your money for big ticket items but do not give you the items. Absolutely horrible!

They don’t return DEPOSIT! They're a bunch of crooks. In addition to all the problems already reported by guests who left reviews and they are true, they do not return the deposit. They literally ignore emails and the staff is conniving, I don't know how anyone can work with these unethical people. A company that nowhere has a contact phone AVOID!!! The single number always goes to voicemail and they never call back!

Management has gone downhill, plagued with water/boiler/wi-fi issues and no compensation. Absolute pain to get my deposit back. Offered me a rental renewal rate of approx. 40% above what I was paying the year before. Avoid.

Avoid at all costs

I had been staying at the Collective Old Oat for less than a week when this happened- fire extinguisher, fault in the system, sprayed all over my kitchen, my floor, walls, countertop, everything was covered in this strange liquid that smelt like vinegar, but had this oily texture. All my food that was on my kitchen countertop were ruined and one of my coats was drenched in the liquid from the extinguisher. When I came down to the reception the team told me they should be able to get the coat dry cleaned for me.

I like it, but it overpromisses for the ££££!

I’ve been living at The Collective Old Oak for almost a year and I’ve been having overall a positive experienceLuiza and Daniela and the cleaners always make me feel at home with the biggest smiles and positive attitude.The events are fun and included: I’ve made candles, played the steel drum, painted and been in a foam party during summer in the huge terrace.There are events organised by the ambassadors like meditation, yoga, workouts, morning breakfast every weekend (my fave) and themed movies (mostly).But I must confess the longer I stay the more I feel sorry for the founders who thought that this many ppl would live pacifically in this tiny room paying this extortionate price - and they keep rising!In this case, even an air freshner could be cause for complaint…Advice for the powers-that-be: either lower the prices or make the experience worth every peny ;)

Abdo helped me a lot with renting a room here. He was very quick at responding on WhatsApp, he sent me all the videos, rates and terms straightaway after I asked for a quote. We closed a deal in one day, which I have never experienced before with renting any flat or accommodations. He also knows the answer for everything whatever you ask abut the place. They just DO NOT return the deposite. From May I try to recieve my money back. I have all documents from my bank that the money, 825 pounds, are on there account from March 8, but they just simply answer " our bank said they do not recieve your money, or simply ignore my emails. They do not give contacts of somebody responsible , only one guy "Jose" who repeats his lie again and again. This place just steals money(((

Nash House is the best!

Staying at the collective in west London and it’s been amazing! Impeccably clean, my room is super cute with its own en suite and a mini kitchenette I share with one other. There’s social things on every day, you just check the chalkboard! I’ve seen reviews complaining of dirtiness but it’s a private room so the cleanliness is up to you? The shared facilities I used so far (big kitchen, outside terrace, the gym) is cleaned regularly, I also like to rewash and wipe surfaces before I use it personally anyway and there’s always products readily available to do that so I cannot complain! Front staff are wonderful, Daniela showed me around and explained how the services worked - she was super lovely!

I started staying here in July of 2021 and stayed for the full year. All the staff were friendly and helpful but I will point out that abdo dada was particularly brilliant as always sorted everything out when and if there was an issue. Was most surprising that what started as a living arrangement turned into a genuine friendship. Would highly recommend.
