The canal beside the flat is a hotspot for crime, as is the front door which is like walking through skid row, along with the constant stench of cannabis which the reception refuse to act upon

We were left with no hot water for 4days, offered no reasonable alternative (we were told we could travel 2miles away to a sisters company and use their shower between 9-5 only) and offered no compensation. There are constantly false fire alarms, and the emails from management are very condescending.

I’ve just moved in to the collective this week and my experience thus far has been brilliant. I was in such a rush to get a place sorted, but Abdo was a huge help with getting my room booked. Thank you!

Thanks to Abdo Dada for hospitality, we enjoyed our stay and he was in touch whenever we needed. The stay was smooth and comfortable. Place is extremely safe and I definitely can recommend it if you need to stay in London.

Lamaya was so friendly as soon as I came in, really helpful with my sign in and answered any questions I had. Same with Abdo, really professional and knowledgeable. Made the move in as easy as possible.

Easy application with Abdo Dada and check-in process with Patrycja. The reception team is always available if there are issues. The cleaners are actual sweethearts. The neighbours in the building are lovely. Commuting to essential locations are good. Various activities to do each week. Good place to stay short term and long term for working professionals and mature students. Room benefits: Water pressure are good, no hot water issues, wifi stable throughout the day and night, room lighting is good, window ventilation is good. Facilities: Quiet workspaces, open workspaces gym, spa and sauna.

Lamaya, Becky, Nicole and Steph are always organising great events in The Collective and always on hand to help

Great place to live in London. You get your own private space plus plenty of shared rooms to use for work/study, socialise, play games or watch movies. Price is reasonable - I used to pay more for less in Zone 1 before. Management is so nice and helpful - there is always someone to talk to if you have any questions or issues.

Wanted to shout out to Abdo Dada for the great level of service and a positive first time experience with setting up The Collective stay. Always at hand to answer any questions. I'm excited to be moving in!

Poorly managed, facilities always broken. Is a good building with facilities but they don't know how to run it. (They also make you put a 5* review when you first move in, so be careful)

I highly recommend this place. Special thanks to Daniella who was so helpful and professional
Hi Ali, Thank you for the 5 stars review! The Collective Old Oak

Stay away, as far as you can, from this totally rubbish building. - You are surrounded by two waste management sites that have the license to operate 24/7 as this area is an industrial one not residential! Abysmal level of noise and pollution.. - Four lines of trains, one of them for freight trains which makes horrendous noises day and night. - Numerous HS2 sites and non-stop lorries passing the road which sometimes causes vibration in addition to terrible air pollution. - Extremely rude staff - Dirty rooms and disgusting communal kitchens - Almost always faulty heating, WiFi or hot water And finally forget your deposit as they won't return it to you.

The Collective is leading the way for the future of city living. Old Oak is a fantastic building: modern, well-equipped, with lots of space for work and leisure. Events are on all the time, always something for everyone. The community aspect of it brilliant, in that you always have someone to welcome you home because making friends comes so naturally.

If you’re considering renting a studio here, I would strongly advise against it. When we initially moved into the building, everything was going well. However, things changed after we renewed our contract. New rules were introduced that …

If you want to pay an above market rate for cold water showers, lacklustre management inattention and a bunch of excuses every day, look no further! I've lived here for 4 months (4 months too long if you ask me), out of which there has been no hot water for 12 days. We have been hearing different excuses every week as to why this hasn't been fixed at the root. Yes, you get events included in the price, and access to some shared facilities (gym, co-working space etc) but if the basics are not guaranteed, is it really worth it?

This place is horrible. They don't put the deposit in approved schemes. I had to write a letter of court action to get back my deposit. When I asked what scheme they use in the app, they blocked me from using the app. If you want to stay here, please see the all reviews talking about deposit. I know an international student who still didn't get it back after 2 months he left here. They are taking advantage of tenant's unstable visa status. Such a horrible place!

Excellent Customer Service
The Collective Old Oak Lane Front Desk is amazing, especially the girls, Lavina, Luiza, Daniella and Lamaya. They always smile and are willing to help with anything that’s in their power. Thank you for making my experience at The Collective better. 🙏🏻🤗

Living in this apartment has been incredibly frustrating. The rooms are so tightly compressed that it feels more like living in a storage unit than a livable home. On top of that, the receptionists are consistently unhelpful and, frankly, …
