GoogleAfter a stressful flat search myself and a friend contacted Stonehouse about a property. Peter arranged a viewing for us for that afternoon and from that moment onwards the time and care put into our property search was incredible - even with complications with our references, Peter chased these for us to ensure we could move into our property on the day we agreed. Peter really went out of his way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and i would absolutely recommend Stonehouse for anybody searching for a property in the area.

Special mention goes to Jane, who looks after me and the property and ensures that in the rare cases where things go awry they are dealt with quickly and with great care, so it helps when someone genuinely cares for your wellbeing. GoogleWe moved out of our flat in 2002 and kept it to let out. After it had sat empty for 3 months despite my best efforts to find a tenant I handed it over to Stonehouse Estates. In the last 17 years it has been empty for just 1 month. They have a good network of electricians, plumbers, decorators etc who go in quickly and resolve issues for a fair price. They are decent to the tenants, most of whom have renewed their tenancies at least once and only move if they leaving the area. I can definitely recommend them to local landlords.

Despina Christaki has assisted me in renting a flat that I have in Holloway. Within 2 days of me contacting her, she had already found prospective tenants. The property needed an Energy Performance Certificate - she sorted. The property needed a Gas Safety Certificate - she again sorted. And the tenants insisted on certain pieces of furniture being removed - guess what, she sorted again. No issue was a problem for Despina. She sorted out everything that was required and the tenants are moving into the property today. Despina and Stonehouse were a pleasure, as always, to deal with. I would always recommend

Despina helped us to find a property in October 2016. The range of properties she presented helped us to make an informed choice. She also gave us a clear list of questions to answer in making our offer, reducing the chance of any complications. She is exceptionally organised, and compared to other agencies I have used previously, makes you feel that the agency fees are actually reflective of the service offered. I have found Stonehouse to be much more proactive and efficient than other agents in the area. When my tenants left the flat with no notice just three months after they had moved in, the agent, specifically Kurt and Rohan, moved quickly to ensure that the flat was left in a good condition and to find a new tenant almost before I even knew there was a problem. Both the lettings team and liz in the management team provide a friendly and responsive service.

I found Despina to be very friendly, helpful and informative when we were looking to rent a property through Stonehouse estates. Meeting with her, she was always on time when viewing the property, was able to answer any questions we had and if she didn't know the answer, she would get back to us via email within a day or two. The process was relatively smooth and it was a pleasure to do business with Despina.. I would be happy to use her as an agent again.

View AgentsMade a difficult process run very smoothly
I'd been looking for a flat for a few weeks and needed to move urgently, but all of the studio properties in the area I was interested in were disappearing so quickly. Other agents had let me down, or appeared to considerably favour the landlord over the tenant. I'd almost forgotten about Stonehouse until I got a call from Rohan Varma, who had been looking on my behalf in the background. He appeared to make extra effort to get me in to view a flat early, so that I had first refusal. He then communicated with me, and the landlady, in a very open and honest manner. This meant that we both trusted him, and the offer I made was accepted. Rohan provided great advice throughout the whole process, and the move went incredibly smoothly, with references and the inventory check happening at such a speed that I was able to move in within a week. All in all, very grateful and satisfied.

-Seem to have to deal with a new member of staff for every different problem/issue - always blame each other when things don't/didn't happen -They "forgot" to organise a pre-move in deep clean - in fairness they did organise one once we flagged it with them. -They ask for responses to go to certain email addresses - but don't seem to check what they've asked for as they ask for the email to be sent again and again. Very "forgetful"'. -They're not a bad estate agent just unorganised
