Very helpful center staff.

Very helpful center staff. We also loved the design of the business lounge at Spaces Monument. The flexibility they offered to members are fantastic. When we had to move to another site due to unforeseen reasons, the community manager and the center staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for flexible and professional offices.

Nice but not helpful

Though the staff is friendly miscommunications abound. They do not solve more challenges than they generate for my company while the prices would suggest stupendous service.

Still waiting after nearly 7 months for a return of £14,000 deposit, which they genuinely do owe as our contract was legally terminated due to their breach of contract. Ignore the repeated rubbish reply below about honesty, openness etc etc and insert deceitful, money grabbing and dishonest. Also IGNORE the positive reviews, they are all INVITED (let’s say encouraged) by a company desperate to skew the percentages to make themselves look just bad as oppose to horrendous.

Citypoint, London

I have to say this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my 30 years in business. Poor service, no ability to get decisions done. I feel sorry for the staff in a way as the company is so badly run there is no chain of command to get anything sorted. The office is actually quite nice, but the service is awful. Dirty kitchens that have shrunk in size, coffee cups stacking up in the sink, break out areas that are cut, phones not working, wifi slow. Maintenance staff sacked to save costs. Our aircon didnt work for a year, they couldn't fix it.Just go somewhere else. We did the minute the contract ended.

Exceptional onsite management

This work environment has been an absolute God send during the current covid restrictions. Having a highly professionally managed facility and onsite team to make getting on with the business at hand safe and easy has been terrific (Teddington office). The willingness of the onsite team particularly the manager to go above and beyond to ensure clients are happy and have confidence in the facility is second to none and I hope is recognised by his management.

One of the worst companies I've had the…

One of the worst companies I've had the displeasure of interacting with. I was hard sold a private desk (being warned if I didn't sign it would be gone in a few days). The agent told me the minimum contract was 3 months long - I refused and agreed on a 1 month rolling contract. Warning signals before move in date - tech / app not working, they were being vague about how to cancel. I decided to cancel my membership before it started - honouring the first month but terminating it immediately (so was only contracted to the space for 1 month). After a lot of hassle and evasion, I managed to get e-mail confirmation that the contract was terminated at the end of November. It's now 4 months later and I've been having an ongoing battle with Regus asking for £1800 pounds - for a one month contract that was meant to cost £300 pounds. They decided to renew and update my contract (without my approval) even though I had written confirmation that my contract was terminated at the end of November. Someone in their team decided to re-active and renew the contract without my approval and without notifying me. I would honestly give 0 stars if possible.

Missold at Spaces Victoria (co-working hotdesk does not work / exist after all)

I had been sold that I could book a co-working hotdesk at this facility as part of my membership. Using the website, I then booked a co-working desk succesfully at this facility. However, upon arriving at the facility and asking for my desk, I was told, that in fact one cannot book co-working hotdesk at this facility, despite having succesfully booked one via the website (and actually getting a specific desk number). Upon then cancelling my contract, I cannot get out of the contract earlier despite obviously having been missold and ended up paying for two months (!!!). I can only recommend to stay away.

I do not recommend it.

They advertise as having a free trial. However, you have to contact them to "potentially" get a free trial. I did several back and forth of emailing to get the "free trial". However, when I got to the space in Brooklyn, the receptionist looked perplexed and asked me if I were there for a tour several times. I showed then the email correspondence with the representative who made a reservation for my free trial. One of the receptionist went to get a sales manager and told me that I have to do a tour before the free trial. The "tour" was basically just the sales manager explaining different prices for different plans. No walking around the space or showing me where things are. No explanation about what are available for the hotdesk workers. No explanation about the fact that going to the bathroom upstairs would need a key to get back into the workspace. Therefore, I was locked out of the space in the second floor and I had to get out of the building to get back in. I was considering signing up for 5 days/month plan because of the location but I even left mid-day of my free trial. They probably just don't care about people who are not going to pay full workspace price but this really makes me not want to recommend it to others.

Spaces is fantastic

Spaces is fantastic! It’s an open space with great areas to meet others and/or work without having to “book” a private room. I wish Regus would open more.

Great working at Spaces DTLA ROW

Great working at Spaces DTLA ROW. Frontdesk & parking staff are very helpful and personable. It's only like a 5 min or less walk to a coffee shop, restaurant & shops. So convenient. Also, drive 10 mins or less to fast food restaurants and other restaurants and shops. It's also close to the 10 & 101 freeway!

Hi David, I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment. We understand that you dissatisfaction comes from the automated renewal of your agreement. We take renewals very seriously and ensure that the process, which is very simple, is communicated to customers upfront. Prior to any renewal, our customers receive courtesy email reminders. According to our history, you received these emails on 10 and 24 July with detailed information on prices, terms and the option of ending the agreement if you no longer require our services. As you gave no notice of termination, your agreement renewed for an additional term as per your agreement. On this occasion we are happy to inform that a member of my team has contacted you and come to a favourable conclusion. If there is anything further we can do, please get in touch.Kind regards, Michelle SpireAssistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

Comfortable and spacious but noisy

It's great place to sit and work ! Lots of space, cosy atmosphere, some coffee available, friendly people, everything is fine as a co-working place. My only negative point is about people talking around and having face to face meetings in the main room, this generates a noisy background... also at lunchtime, it looks like a canteen...

Terrible experience at Bath,UK Spaces

Terrible experience at Bath,UK Spaces. I wouldnot recommend going near them. All sorts of horrible hidden expenses as you leave that you have to fight to have removed. As a small one man band they added an extra £550 on me asI left for erroneous admin costs and 2 late payment charges due to them mucking up paper work (I got them removed). Then final insult to be charged rates by council retrospectively and having to chase Spaces to have rectified by their admin, currently on month 3 of chasing this to be sorted and court case looming by council as Spaces can’t get their act together and let the council know it is their responsibility. Many other companies in same boat and have rates bills being chased. Also locked me into a 6 month contract when I didn’t need the space for 6 months and was 1 day over to cancel, no flexibility or leniency for 1 man band business. If you are a small business look elsewhere and if you’re a big business you can do better looking around for your own office.

Compulsive liars. Avoid like the plague.

Pros: Jamie and Shannon, the office staff, are lovely and will try their best to help you with any issues you have.Cons: We've had the displeasure of being lied to, mislead, patronised, accused and have dealt with terrible customer service.- Contracts have mysteriously signed themselves electronically, weeks before our termination date - subsequently, we've been accused of lying (not entirely sure what our motive would have been here).- We've been promised a retainer return of almost £4,000 which is, at the time of writing, over 3 weeks late already (7 weeks since we officially left). The team are slow and communication is incredibly poor.- We were sent a renewal agreement on Boxing Day, which signed itself as we had not been checking work emails - the terms we had auto-signed were different from the original ones.- Our invoices were sometimes taken as far as two months in advance with our card on the system, and they refused to refund them.- Any issues we had were largely ignored by the area manager and we were continuously told to contact their 'Account Helpdesk Team' - who frankly couldn't care less about our problems and did nothing to help.DO NOT choose Spaces. You will save money, time and stress by choosing a local supplier, even if the cost is a little extra.

Quick to tell you it's not Regus, but it's Regus alright

Don't be fooled by the trendy look at feel of the break out areas at Spaces and the friendly nature of the 'centre managers', you'll get a very impersonal and faceless experience from Spaces. They're quick to tell you it's not Regus. As soon as you've signed you're stuck dealing with Regus' horrendous customer service with your local centre manager having no control over any finance related questions. There have been so many issues with our experience that I'm going to summarise:-They auto-renewed our contract with DIFFERENT TERMS based on an Email sent on boxing day, with 1 day notice-They took payment based on these new terms we 'auto agreed', despite the terms changing drastically and us not re-signing-They take payment two months in advanced if you have your card on file with them and refuse to refund-They automatically took two months deposit despite us agreeing one month and we still haven't had this returned, 8 weeks after leaving Spaces. The cherry on top was when we told our centre manager we had ended our agreement her first comment was: "Oh I wasn't aware, I had someone interested in your office". They really don't care at all. People churn in and out all of the time, usually due to terrible billing / finance experience. Find a local provider and avoid Spaces at all costs. As another reviewer aptly put it, they're a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Office ok, customer service awful

The office was fine but it's taking quite a long time to get the deposit back that I paid to rent it. I was also charged an additional £90 fee which was not communicated until months after I had vacated the office.

We can confirm that the refund has already been issued and is on its way to you shortly.
