We have been renting a house with this agency for over 3 years. From my personal experience I can say that the costumer service is on very high level. I'm very happy that we have just one and always the same agent. Mr Niraj Shah is a very professional person, responsible and always willing to help. It is very convenient that we have a personal agent that knows everything about our rent history and we can always rely on him. Our agent is taking every issue seriously, his reaction on our requests is very fast and effective. I recommend this agency to everyone!

The process of finding a new home to rent was made so easy by Elliot / Rent My Home. We had been looking for months to find a new flat and other estate agents had made it a long and confusing process but booking a viewing and moving in with Rent My Home was quick and easy! Had a viewing on the Monday and moved in on the Friday - and they are always very responsive to emails and any queries. Would highly recommend!

Initially I was sceptical of using Rentmyhome as they are not local to my area and all interactions are done by phone or online. Due to them not having the local knowledge they needed prompting on the rental evaluation of my house, but I was able to give them an accurate valuation from my own research and local knowledge. Once I decided to go ahead with Rentmyhome a photographer came and took good professional photos of the property and they were quickly uploaded to various advertising websites. My house had been advertised for 10 days and I rang the company to see if there had been any interest so far, they informed me there were a lot of enquiries and I urged them to arrange some viewings as soon as possible as I wanted to get my property rented out quickly. Viewings began 2 days later and after 4 booked viewings (one didn’t turn up) I had three applicants who all wanted to go ahead with renting my property. We agreed upon an applicant and a date was decided when they would move in. An agent met them at the property on the move in day to hand over keys (which I had sent to them in the post) and carried out a thorough inventory check on the house with photo evidence of any dirt, damages or wear. The move in process all went smoothly and I have now received the first months rent minus the tenant find fees and 8% deducted for the Premium Management Service. Overall very pleased so far with the service and value for money as the price is in line with the cheapest we could find. A special thanks to Elliott Shaw for his constant communication and professional service which has always been 10/10 .

I have used this letting agency for a year and a half now and I must say they have excellent customer service and great communication!Every property I have with them has been good value for money and whenever I have had an issue they reply super quickly.I have always dealt with Elliott Shaw who is the property manager and although he’s the manager he still replies to every email and is most helpful!I would recommend this agency to anyone.

A team of professionals who have guided me with relevant information and whom I can approach with any concern knowing that it will be considered seriously and not brushed under the carpet. The advice I’ve received to date from Various personnel has been fair and non biased towards either tenant or landlord. Special mentions:Venita- she’s efficient- quick at responding and precise in her communication. Yaz - (sorry this is a bit late) but what a pleasure to work with! He went the extra mile in hunting for the best deal for me a few months ago and really heard my concerns and addressed them to the best of his ability! Thank you!Neeraj- he looks out for what’s best for me as a client- negotiates both ways - and is responsive on email! I used Rent My Home 2.5 years ago and everything was great - efficient service, clear communication, it all worked. This time was a completely different experience. Every single thing had to be chased, nothing was done without me asking for it. The property disappeared from Rightmove for some time, I don't know how long. I had to send the photos twice. There was no clarity on what I had actually paid for. The person who I emailed directly was helpful and friendly but that was the only positive. I will definitely not be using them again.

We have had a great experience with Rent My Home and Alex, in particular, has been a credit to the business. Although I have never rented a property via RentMyHome, I thought it was worth leaving a review for the excellent service I received whilst enquiring about rental opportunities with one of their representatives. I’ve had a number of bad experiences with uninterested estate agents but not here. William Allsopp was very friendly and great at keeping me in the loop. A little kindness goes a long way. A terrible house agency. If you are buying or selling property, your experience might differ, but if you’re renting, stay far away from this company. Before I moved in, the agency conducted a general inspection of the property and its facilities, noting that one of the ceiling lights was not working. To be thorough, I conducted my own inspection on the first day of moving in and discovered two additional issues they had missed. I emailed the agency with photos of the wardrobe that was on the verge of collapsing due to a broken base, as well as evidence of an extremely unstable internet connection, including screenshots of speed tests and connection failures. However, the agency’s response was dismissive: they refused to fix the light, told me to repair the wardrobe myself, and accused me of fabricating the internet issues, claiming there were no problems. One staff member, Venita Laxman, was particularly rude. Instead of addressing the internet issue by having the provider check the router, she told me not to download anything, not to play any game, and insisted that no other tenants had ever complained about the internet. DO I NEED HER TO TELL ME HOW TO USE THE INTERNET? That's ridiculous! I spoke to another tenant in the same property, and he confirmed the internet was practically unusable and even suggested I buy mobile broadband to cope. As a result, I had to spend extra money every month just to get barely functional internet. When the one-year lease ended, the agency caused significant difficulties by cutting off electricity early, making it impossible to clean the apartment or live there normally, forcing me to move out early. They also demanded an excessive amount for so-called "cleaning and repair fees," far exceeding my deposit. I had to enter a lengthy dispute process to recover my deposit. Fortunately, I had saved emails and other evidence of the initial communications about the damaged facilities, or the agency would have succeeded in exploiting me yet again. If you are reading reviews about them, pay close attention to the negative ones and make an informed judgment.

I viewed a property for rent today and after about 20 min decided that it was ideal and I would take it only for the owner to say "oh...ummm" someone else has actually taken it last night, and was in the process of being checked. It seems that Rentmyhome advised her to carry on having viewings just in case the first person did not check out. Luckily I work nearby but still wasted an hour and a half of my work day. No thanks Rentmyhome I wont be viewing any more of your marketed properties. Please be open and upfront if you are having a viewing only as a backup.

The team went above and beyond to get my heating working. My heating stopped on Saturday lunchtime and despite the plumber calling, he wasn't available until Monday morning. The RMH team dropped off electric heaters, within an hour, for the weekend, which I cant thank them enough.

This company has a diamond employee in the Leicester office called Niraj Shah, who, by some miracle, organised a replacement toilet to be delivered and fitted for me on a Saturday (19/11/22) within literally a few hours of my calling him. This issue had become urgent as no one else in the office had sorted this out over a period of weeks, despite the opening to the sewer pipe being exposed all that time. Niraj deserves a decent pay rise imo!
