TBH, I was a bit sceptical about using Rent My Home services, however, I was pleasantly proven wrong. Debbie Diavatis was an absolute star right from start. chasing the matter like her own, listening patiently to your concerns and giving advice on the best course of action. what more would you ask for? I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Phone lines never seem to work. I leave a voicemail with my name, phone number, and get emails back denying they have received any phone calls. Been available to speak for at least 2 full afternoons, but never get a call back. Only emails. No names attached to emails either. Have been asking for receipts of expenses for weeks, they still haven’t sent these through.

Worst agency ever.99% of their properties are nothing like the pictures ,they're old,smelly and full of maintenance problems.They will increase your rent every year,that's why nobody is renewing tenancies with them and have so many properties on the market.Whenever you call them they will lie to you and say the problems will get fixed and then it takes weeks for them to fix something. I've had the ceiling falling in the house and house full of mold ,plumbing issues,that's how old the properties are.Do not thrust their staff or the landlords they represent. Most horrible humans ever that will say and do anything to convince you to rent their so called houses and flats.

I have used RMH for many years now and the service has always been impeccable, exceptional and consistent throughout. Raj Suain in particular shines, and his knowledge and experience of his area of work is second to none, as is his client care. Responsive and reactive, making the whole experience so much more smoother and tolerable at a time which is often stressful. A great business model and approach and competitive rates leading to considerable savings. I will never use a traditional estate agent again, and believe me they have tried. He made sure I settled in well, though I had an issue with the flat at first, he helped resolving the problem. We have used rent my home for almost a year now first with one flat and now again with our second. They are very different to agencies we have used before. This mainly comes down to the excellent customer service provided from a dedicated consultant which means everything is smooth and proactive. Debbie is our consultant and is brilliant - always available over the phone or via e mail, deals with all requests from the tenant or landlord efficiently and effectively. I can’t imagine using another company now and would totally recommend.

I've been in the UK since 2016 and have moved many times due to my job, but have never felt a closer connection to an estate agency as I do with the "rentmyhome" team. Dangerous rental conditions - no real maintenance in three years.

Rented with them for 3 years and had near every issue under the sun with no attempt to resolve most of the problems.They're always friendly to talk to, but absolutely useless at their jobs. They had actually forgotten to note that I'd agreed to vacate the property and issued me a section 13 to increase monthly rent. Had to flag the same maintenance issues multiple times with them seemingly not recalling the issues each time. They were also keen to charge every current tenant for removals when a previous tenant had left furniture in the hallway.The contractors they use are dangerous and unprofessional. They attended my property and did work in the property without notice when I was out. They used power tools inside of the flat without warning or protection. They did dodgy workarounds to fixes rather than actually resolving a problem.To give the list of the highlights:- Water poured for a short time like a high powered tap out of my kitchen extractor fan. The contractor called to ask about a leak and when I told him it wasn't currently leaking, said they would ignore it.- The only maintenance they achieved successfully was replacing a cupboard door. This involved the contractor pulling out a circular saw and cutting screws in half in my kitchen. No protection on himself, no warning for me - sparks flew.- The building had rats for 2 years. They destroyed carpets and chewed several of my possessions. Despite them calling out pest control quickly, they refused to follow the pest controller's recommendations for drain surveys and just kinda left it. The rats moved in and out of the building every few months as they pleased from then on.- In the first few months of my tenancy, they did insulation work inside of the property, leaving me with about 50% bare plaster walls. These walls were never painted despite assurances several times that they would be.- 3/4 of the windows were sealed shut with silicon sealant. Somewhat certain that's not fire safe.- One contractor stuffed the washing machine's outflow pipe with a plastic bag because it was overflowing. To my disbelief it held up, but I don't want to know where that water started going instead (presumably into the washing machine).- The very same contractor super glued over cracks in the windows to seal themOn the plus side, no damp or mould.

Do not use this agency if you are new to this country. They will first of all not mention anything about break clause in the agreement and then when you will like to break the term they will charge you a lot of money on comparison other agencies charge 50GBP per person when you break the clause. We were bombarded back to back with charges which are mentioned on their website and it is liable to be paid by the landlord they will ask you to pay all the amount. For us we paid nearly 700GBP for 1 bedroom apartment to vacate a property in 6months. Also they do not provide any solution to your issues you raise after moving into the property.
