GoogleLast week on 29 July 21 I saw on Rightmove website that 12 Hallfield Estate 2 bedroom flat is rented out by Mountgrange Heritage. I went to the agency. I spoke with Andrew and we agreed to see the flat for next day 30th July 21 at 11:30. I saw the flat and liked it and said the budget was £1600 and I wanted to rent it. He immediately said it was not a problem that the landlord would accept. I asked what I should do at this stage. He said that as soon as he went to the office, he would immediately send me a confirmation email. We agreed. I didn't bother him thinking that it would be very busy that day. I waited until Tuesday. I did not receive any email. I emailed him on Tuesday, I called him on his mobile phone, I left a message, I called the office, I couldn't talk to him, I explained my situation to the agency and they said they would forward my message . I then looked at Mountgrange Heritage's own web page. I saw that it was Camilla who was in charge of that flat, I called her, but I could not reach her. I left a message again. Nobody replied back. This Friday I finally reached Andrew. He told me on the phone that he was busy on Friday and Saturday, that he could not send a confirmation e-mail to me, and that his other colleagues rented this flat to someone else because he worked part-time on Monday.
If I said I wanted to rent this flat, why was my offer not communicated to his superior? I had already agreed to the requested rent. I was very disappointed and shocked because I wanted to rent out a flat with you because your reviews were good, but I realized that I was wrong. Additionally, due to this reason I declined the choice to view other flats from other agencies because I thought that we had made an offer.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI’d had the worst time flat hunting until I found Diana at Mountgrange. From the first phone call with her, I knew I was in safe hands. Her fantastic bubbly personality eased all my woes and we embarked on an adventure to find the perfect home for me. She is very attentive and did her best to find exactly what I wanted. She is super approachable and quick to respond and has been fantastic throughout the whole journey. I didn’t want to go to any other agency as I felt safe in her care! Moving house is stressful enough, it helps so much when you have an agent like that who supports you 100%. Highly recommend Mountgrange who have got such a gem with Diana working there.

GoogleI have been a landlord and tenant in London. This agency is the worst I have encountered in 20 yrs. They use the cheapest workmen to conduct repairs, yet charge the landlord much higher fees. Have taken over a year to sort out a bath that would not drain, nearly six months to replace a broken washer drier, over a year to repair crumbling plaster work due a previous leak. over three years to replace carpet that was promised would be replaced upon renting the property. Their repair people are totally incompetant and make things look worse.
Their policy is to delay, make excuses and more delay until the tenant eventually gets so frustrated and gives up.
