Avoid JLL if you want to be treated like a human being. Three days after moving in, still surrounded by boxes, my property manager Taj contacted me demanding the landlord visit my flat. I said no. He asked again. Then he pushed for a manager key to enter while I wasn’t home, after I had already refused twice. That set the tone for everything that followed. Three months in, I received a Section 21 notice because the landlord wanted to sell, something that should have been disclosed before I signed a long-term tenancy. The disruption of relocating after just three months was enormous. When I asked for one extra month to manage the situation, I was refused. I was told I couldn’t speak to the landlord directly and should “write to them instead.” Meanwhile, Taj immediately booked a checkout appointment before the conversation had even finished. My requests were not taken seriously at any point. I formally asked for a different property manager. I was told it would be “reviewed.” No response ever came, no new contact was provided. I reached out to Helen, who had sent the Section 21, she said she couldn’t help and redirected me back to Taj. Even at checkout, when I needed a reference, it was still Taj and it took a week to make him do so, said he didn’t receive email, which was a completely lie. The loop never closed. The checkout report listed items that were pre-existing, things that were already there before I moved in, and deductions followed. Apparently they assumed I wouldn’t check. At every stage: ignored, bounced around, and treated as an inconvenience rather than a paying tenant. That seems to be the spirit of this company.

This review is in regards to one of the agents George Reeves. As you probably guess by the full star review, I‘ve found the whole process of arranging my lease forwards to the moving in procedure incredibly swift, kind, and as uncomplicated as it gets. The best experience with real estate agents I had so far (in London and beyond). What stood out for me, was the fact that George - as everyone associated with JLL - seems to understand that todays tenants can be buyers tomorrow. Something literally every real estate agency I‘ve dealt with in the past didn‘t want to understand (no shade intended). There was not a single aspect I could criticise if I tried. I‘ll never change to another agency again and highly recommend the agency in general, and George specifically. Great team!

We have recently purchased our first property and I can’t recommend Wilkinson’s, and Kandi in particular, enough! The communication was fantastic from start to finish, and the fact that Kandi always responded quickly to calls & emails made for a great experience. Kandi was incredibly friendly, professional and organised which really helped us to feel like she was on top of everything and really cared about our purchase. Having recently purchased a property via Wilkinsons, I can't recommend their services unfortunately. From the start we experienced unprofessional service and unnecessary pressure - our formal offer wasn't shared with the sellers meaning our inclusions weren't agreed to, there was no comms on our agent being out of office meaning emails and calls were ignored, and we received last minute threats to remarket the property on the day of exchange! Overall, Wilkinson made the process a lot more stressful than it needed to be. Steer clear if you can help it!

We do accept some details of the F&F were not initially conveyed fully, albeit this was subsequently resolved to your satisfaction. Yes the person you were dealing with was unexpectedly off ill, but the office was permanently staffed and the phones all working. Our clients were frustrated at delays towards the end and as such instructed us to convey their concerns.

After a few disappointments along the way we finally moved to Winslow with the help of Wilkinsons. Catherine in particular has been wonderful throughout the process. Nothing has been too much trouble, even though the commission may be heading to another agent, which is a shame. The care with which she goes about her job is admirable.
