Despite the difficulties with Brexit and Covid 19, the team worked seamlessly to source serious potential buyers for my home. I was very surprised that within days of marketing my property people were queuing to view and offers started to be received. My transaction was managed in a professional, personal and efficient way leading to completion of my sale within two months from receipt of offer. We were so glad to be purchasing a house that was on the market with James Alexander - I genuinely don’t think we would have made it without the wonderful help and assistance given by Ken and Caroline. We were impressed when we viewed properties initially as in comparison to other local agents, Ken and Caroline seemed knowledgeable on the local area and just genuine people who cared about the home we were looking to purchase (as well as showing care and respect for the housing they were showing us around). As first time buyers we were new to everything and felt like we were muddling our way through the process (rather slowly given the stamp duty holiday too). However Ken and Caroline really helped us along and made the process as smooth and simple as possible. They were clear and communicative, always giving us regular updates and information - giving us such peace of mind and confidence on such a significant purchase. Having previously dealt with large chain estate agents who employ slimey salesmen with no knowledge of the property market it was a refreshing change to receive old school service and genuine local knowledge. Dodgy outfit 1) They disclose highest bid to other bidders during a seal bid process. **EDIT** may not have been officially called a seal bid process, but buyers were told to submit the best and final offers buy a particular time. Through the final day members of your office called round disclosing the highest bid. Surely not in the sprit of things? 2) Once seal bid process deadline past, wait 3 days before telling people who has won? even though all bidders were previously qualified. Surely you tell people immediately after the deadline? unless you are doing something dodgy 3) Fail to tell buyers over previously identified structural issues - wasting £000's. In the meantime they get a free professional report that the client pays for. All in all, if you want a stress free clean purchase/sale. Don't use these guys as it seems as though they are involved in some unethical practices.
