This was my first time moving out from home so it was a momentous occasion for all involved. Our estate agent, Jon Sowton, was excellent and made sure everything ran smoothly and has kept in regular contact since to make sure we are ok. Everyone that myself or my mate have been in contact with at Jackson-Stops has been really helpful and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to rent or buy properties in the South-West of London. Jolly good show!

My flat mate and I recently booked second viewings on two rental properties with Jackson-Stops & Staff. The first was booked for 12pm and the second for 12.30. Whilst on route we got stuck in traffic and I immediately called the office to tell them we would be around 10 minutes late. A few minutes later I was called by Liz (a Saturday assistant) who was due to be showing us around. She was extremely rude despite me apologising for the delay. I suggested that if we were too late we could skip the first viewing and go straight to the second as this was the property which we preferred. Liz told me that she 'didn't understand my logic'. She also informed me that she was so cold that she simply couldn't wait outside so she had already gone in. We arrived at the property a few minutes later (around 12.10) and she said we could have an extremely quick look. The entire time she was talking about how she had other viewings to get to. We left and she then informed us that she had not brought her car or the keys for the second property so we would need to walk for 10 minutes back to the office - this was cutting in to our viewing times but she claimed that the fact that we were in a rush was entirely our fault! She suggested that we walk to the property whilst she drove, but I pointed out that this would clearly take even longer and she agreed to let us in the car. As my friend went to get in the front seat she told her to sit in the back as she needed to put her paperwork there - she proceeded to lay two sheets of paper on the front seat. As we drove she repeatedly spoke about she had to get to another customers viewing in 15 minutes so, again, we would have to look around very quickly. She said that 15 minutes were scheduled per viewing but yet she had to be at the next property 15 minutes after our appointment began! She said the next viewing was for a sales property so it was important that she was on time. We were astounded that she was openly telling us that her next viewing was more important than this one. When we expressed our dissatisfaction she became extremely defensive and argued that she was simply being 'direct'. We were disappointed as we liked the properties but simply couldn't work with this agency. We have seen many properties and never received such bad service. Avoid at all costs!

GoogleI've been truly impressed by the service, friendliness and professionalism of the team here at the Pimlico branch of Jackson Stops & Staff. As a tenant I can honestly say I've not ever had a better experience with letting agents, particularly in London. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Very poor communication & of-the-scale valuations, their aggressive approach sticks out like a sore thumb. Use them at your peril but if you’re selling it means you will be on the market for a long long time.

GoogleJust bought our first flat in London with Jackson Stops. Hamish listened to our requirements from the start and didn’t show us around loads of unsuitable properties. He then helped through the purchasing process with Harry very professionally, even when things got a bit tricky. Great service, would recommend to other buyers.
