We hugely appreciated Harry's support, honesty and market knowledge. We had been about to switch to Jackson Stops and Staff from another agent because we weren't happy with the existing agents. We got an offer right before switchover so didn't use Harry and the team in the end - but despite this, Harry was really supportive and happy to give a genuinely independent advice throughout when our sale had some problems with an unpleasant buyer. He put our needs first and we really appreciated it, we heartily recommend them.

I have had two properties marketed with Jackson-Stops, and my point of contact has always been Harry in the Pimlico office. Harry has run the Pimlico office for many years and knows everything there is to know about the local area, which has always given me great confidence. I recently sold my house through Jackson-Stops, and both Harry and Johnny Heslop looked after me brilliantly throughout the process. Johnny Hyslop dealt with the sale and was absolutely wonderful, amenable, helpful, professional and always available to answer the phone or come back to me quickly. He guided me through any questions, queries and detailed forms that needed completing, and made the whole process feel much easier and more manageable. I really felt supported from start to finish. Asked to view a property on Bures Road and was told I had to provide proof of funds before even being allowed a viewing. I understand proof of funds is needed at offer stage but demanding it just to view a house is unnecessary and comes across as rude and intrusive; the tone felt more like an interrogation. And for clarity, questioning an asking price is not the same as being unable to afford a property. In a previous transaction, we declined to overpay for a house we did not believe was worth its asking price, and it later sold for significantly less. That is a valuation judgement (a mistake by the same agent), not a funding issue. In any case, the interaction felt dismissive, rather than professional. Plenty of other agents manage to handle high-value properties professionally without treating potential buyers like time wasters. So choosing to take my business elsewhere.
