I recently had a challenging experience with Jackson Stops Agency regarding necessary repairs to my flat that required me to vacate temporarily. Initially, my attempt to address the issue was frustrating. When I called the agency, I was met with an unhelpful and hurried response from a staff member who informed me that the rental team was in a meeting. She didn't allow me to explain my situation and instead provided me with the email address of someone who was on annual leave, which added to my anxiety and frustration.However, my experience took a turn for the better when I spoke with Jess Lynagh. Jess was incredibly kind and understanding. She listened to my concerns attentively and assured me that she would take care of the situation. Her professionalism and compassion turned a stressful situation into a manageable one.This 5-star review is solely for Jess Lynagh, whose excellent customer service and dedication stood out amidst the challenges I faced with the agency. We set Jackson Stops the challenge of selling our house in a very difficult market. They produced good quality promotional material and posted effectively on the main sites. I don't have a property with them directly, but my partner does, and they will ignore an appliance issue/flat issue for days or weeks, with no reimbursement or alternative solution. He had no heat for over 1 month during Nov/Dec, with no communication regarding alternatives or discounts due to the issue. When the laundry machine broke, he was told "it could be weeks" until the issue was solved. Which is fair and reasonable depending on the problem, but that was not helpful, as it took days for Jackson-Stops to even request an engineer visit. We're still waiting on them even come by to figure out the problem. Not acceptable.

Jackson Stop has been absolutely fantastic with our move especially as this move was particularly difficult. The patience and professional attitude was very much appreciated. Anthony was always calm when things seemed to be chaotic, and Tracey would continually smile and accompany potential buyers with enthusiasm and understanding.They always showed possible buyers around the property and would return feed back from those viewings. Should l ever move again Jackson Stops would be the first estate agent l would contact for the move. A great experience from start to finish!

We purchased a house earlier this year through Jackson-Stops. Rosanna, who, was our first point of contact was exceptional throughout the whole process, from viewing until the day we completed. She was professional, kind and managed to guide us through a tricky few months and reassure both myself and my husband, with the house sale (which took much longer than anticipated). The icing on the cake was a lovely gift bag on the day we moved in, which was completely unexpected but a really nice touch. I would not hesitate to recommend Rosanna and her colleagues from the Bury branch to anyone looking to sell their home or use their services.

Jackson Stops (and it’s predecessor) has been managing our rental property for 40 years. Margaret Heath has been there almost all that time as our property manager. As we live overseas it is essential that we have reliable, efficient and comprehensive oversight of our property. Margaret has provided excellent service.
