TrustpilotAvoid the business but especially Rianna
Could Rianna in Battersea be any ruder? She literally hangs up whilst you're still talking, she's miserable when she does talk, she asks the same questions over and over again so obviously doesn't listen. Bloody awful.She could find me my perfect property and I'd still rather not give her the commission. Perhaps learn some customer service skills?Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

GoogleOur letting agent, Thomas Meilak, has done an outstanding job. When we were looking for a flat, we had specific requests and he managed to meet all of them. He also managed the negotiation in a fast and effective way, without making us waiting time. Overall, this has been the best experience with a letting agency in years . Thomas is a hard worker and I strongly recommend him.

GoogleHave experienced both sides of the sale with Gordon & Co. having bought in 2017 and sold this summer. Excellent experience all around with Kevin Sowah managing a challenging sales process in the midst of the Covid pandemic. His communication and professionalism is over-and-above even my high expectations and his ability to close the transaction both in a timely and hassle-free manner is a testament to his capacity as a skilled property agent. Would highly recommend both Gordon & Co and Kevin Sowah to any prospective vendors.

GoogleWasted a lot of our time. Insisted on six months rent in advance and deposit before any contract had been signed. We were hesitant to do this because the pre-tenancy stated "No legal agreement to let the property is made until the tenancy agreement is signed". Also our referencing had not finished yet, and the pre tenancy agreement contained a clause about how an offer would not be made until this went through. Additionally, the tenancy agreement they sent said that payment should be sent after the agreement was signed. Eventually, they decided they did not agree to the terms of their own tenancy agreement after I put pressure on them to follow it, and they withdrew from the agreement. Fortunately, we did not pay the six months rent before they decided they didn't agree to their own tenancy agreement.

Unfortunately, as you know, we had to ask for the 6 months' rent in advance due to the affordability threshold not being met. This is a legal requirement for renting in the UK. We use the ARLA Propertymark Client Money Protection service to safeguard your money. Procedure is that you would need to sign the agreement first, which we explained. It’s a shame that this led to the landlord pulling out, which is a very rare occurrence for us. We wish you all the best and would be happy to discuss this further if you’d like: 020 7223 3100

GoogleI would be very wary as a tenant about using Gordon & Co. They really lived up to the reputation of a stereotypical estate agents, and I would be particularly concerned if your advisor is William Tenquist, who is incredibly dishonest, feeding multiples lies to both tenant and landlord for their own personal gain. How an individual can go through life behaving in such a dishonest manner is beyond me. Will never use Gordon and Co again, and have advised friends to follow suit.

GoogleThis has to be one of the worst expereinces I have ever had dealing with a Company. Beyond belief.. Dealing with a combative, unprofessional and rude Property Manager thats only interest lies with the Landlord. Tried to organise a name change on the lease. All 3 proposed applicants got rejected with no explanation, after taking their fee to 'reference' them each time. Shortly after we got given our notice for eviction over email with no explanation as to why, and now been hit with a large deposit 'deduction' for general wear and tear. Stear clear of this company if you want to avoid: a terrible service, unresponsive communication, fee's for everthing, unreasonable deposit deductions.
