I have moved quite a few times and used several letting agencies and I've had by far the best experience with City Docklands. I was very interested in a property and Mark helped me get it. He gave me great advice on an offer to put in and answered all of my questions (which were many!). When emailing back and forth, he responded to me right away and even allowed my friend to view the property in person with him, as I was out of the country. Thanks to him, I was able to secure the flat and get a really good rate. I highly recommend City Docklands and look forward to working with them in the future.

Samantha has been spectacular in helping with dealing with the flat I rented. Everything from keeping schedule and helping with negotiations through to being available to follow up on answering questions on legal parameters for lettings. You wont go wrong asking for her when you are looking for a flat and would even go as far as saying that you should just go talk to her and see what flats she has on offer before you go deal with other companies.

WARNING, Owners- Do NOT under any circumstances trust these people with your property, and tenants- do NOT rent a property managed by this agency if you can at all help it. These guys gave us one of the worst years of our lives. From lying about reporting issues to our land lord, to refusing to pay for emergency accommodation when all water was switched off to our apartment. They will prey on renters who they think are desperate to secure a property in the London market. They’ll pressure you to sign leases you’re not comfortable with and don’t understand, in order to lock you in to tenancies they assure you you can get out of if need be. You will never speak to the same agent twice,you will report issues that need fixing, which will go ignored until your apartment is deemed uninhabitable, but they will refuse to compensate you for this. If we were planning to settle in the UK we would’ve sued these guys, but found it easier to walk away and never have dealings with them again. Be very very careful if renting from these utter sharks.

City Docklands has been by far the best estate angecy I have comes across in the 4 years I have lived in London. My partner and I were looking for a flat in Berdmonsey area and Samantha took such good care of us. All viewings and appointments were arranged smoothly (and keeping our schedules in mind), and the paperwork and references were processed in the blink of an eye. Not sure if that's the agency culture or just Samantha being incredibly professional and personable. She turned what usually is a pretty stressful experience into a walk in the park. Would definitly recommend City Docklands.

Leasing with City Docklands is not without its challenges. Especially in the beginning when we were assigned a non-experienced agent to show us properties that did not even know how to access the properties. We had a number of issues at move in, but it took a much better turn when we were assigned Michelle Gambier as our Property Manager - she is very kind and proactive. We discussed our concerns with Michelle who adequately addressed them and as a consequence we decided to renew our lease. We look forward to a much easier tenancy in the next year(s) and a trouble-less check out when time comes. If it was possible to give separate ratings, I'd give City Docklands 3 stars and Michelle 5 stars, so rounding it to 4 stars.

Daniel, John and the rest of the team at City Docklands have been so helpful. I've never been a landlord before and they have made the whole thing incredibly easy. They found me lovely tenants for my flat within a day of advertising it. All communication with them has been very professional. Would recommend! Since letting the flat Michelle has also been incredibly helpful. As a first time landlord i was not sure of many of the procedures.
