Really disappointed with the service I have received from Lucy White. Any good review for her below must be fake, because my experience with her was not pleasant at all and she comes across very careless and not a trusting person to work with. Having had to chase her for the simplest things before signing the contract. I also had to chase for the actual contract which was promised to be sent over at a specific date, which with Lucy in charge, of course that was also delayed. I guess a red flag was when she was 10-15 minutes late to the viewing, however I liked the property so much that I took it anyway. I have now moved into the flat and was not handed over two sets of keys, two people are on the contract and common practice is to hand over keys to all parties in the tenancy. I have now asked her to have my second set of keys cut, which should have been done before the move date and she is now trying to take that out of my deposit which is ridiculous. Honestly the worst experience ever. If Lucy is the negotiator in charge of your move, good luck 👍🏻

I received excellent and friendly service, on many occasions beyond the call of duty, from Charlotte on the lettings team when she and her team let my flat. The process was quick and easy, and the results were fast. Originally I tried to sell the property through FJL but the market was not in our favour and Neelay on the sales team had no hesitation in recommending that I rent out in the interim. Neelay from the sales team here sold my flat for me during Covid-19. I cannot recommend him and the company enough. The level of attentive care and professionalism was above and beyond and he was also very honest and helpful throughout. During a tricky sales process, Neelay was there every step of the way and making things happen. The agents at Felicity J Lord really have your best interests at heart. In my case, Keane was kind enough to tell us how many other offers were expected on a property that me and my flatmates really wanted which enough information to place a fair offer just after visiting the flat. The agency was extremely quick in getting a response from the landlord and we were let agreed on an affordable flat in a great area within minutes. They're also great for international students and will explain all of the regulations that come along with that, like if you need a guarantor and if you need to pay up front, very well.

Alexander Wheelock-Lines of Felicity J.Lord in Clerkenwell went above and beyond the norm of any other estate agent I have ever come across. His service, care and genuine passion for the his job was exemplary. He advised me in the exact way I would want an estate agent to advise me, honest, factual and speedily. He truly did everything. It goes to show, in times of huge change where most things are moving online and service levels are diminishing to remove person-to-person contact - he gave me a huge amount of time and service I would expect from a golden keys concierge. If you have a negative opinion of estate agents, here’s a tale to change your mind: Alexander Wheelock-Lines has been a hero in helping me through nine months (yes NINE months!) of negotiating hell to finally achieve a great price on the sale of my flat in a difficult market and the completion of the purchase of my amazing new home. He and the team at Felicity J Lord Clerkenwell, Alex and Megan went way above and beyond to help in what turned out to be an incredibly difficult Sale and purchase. I had complex planning/Listed building issues with the sale of my flat and they not only “held my hand” through out but did a huge amount of research, finding and talking to experts in historical buildings and planning as well as legal experts and finding solutions to help action my Sale. They have made what has been a hugely stressful time not only bearable (and even fun!) but they enabled me to achieve my dream which I could never have done without them. Alex Fletcher was very helpful and he definitely didn’t feel like an estate agent. We didn’t feel rushed or that we were just part of a weekly target or an opportunity to spam via generic emails and enthusiastically insincere voicemails about properties that neither matched our requirements nor were anywhere near the neighbourhoods we were interested in. Alex gave up his Friday evening to show us several properties and was more than happy to chat about topics that didn’t involve service charges, ground rents, concierges, sinking funds or length of leasehold. Ultimately it’s the property that you’re choosing not the estate agent, but if we were buying an estate agent we’d make an offer on Alex!

Being relatively inexperienced at property buying and selling Alexander provided us with expert advice from the beginning to the end of the process. His professional and positive attitude helped us to navigate the complexities of the process. We were kept up-to-date throughout the purchase and Alexander checked in us regularly and also liaised with our solicitor to ensure everything was on track. I had a pleasant experience with FJ Lord (particularly Charlotte and Sana) during my tenancy. However, after my tenancy ended, the agency has completely ignored every request to return my tenancy deposit. It has now been SIX weeks since my tenancy ended and I have had to file a dispute with TDS because my communications continue to be ignored. This agency is eager to get your business but quick to dispose of you when moving out. Other reviews seem to have similar issues with deposit returns. I do not recommend this agency until this problem is sorted.
