This review relates to Jean, Senior Property Manager at FJL. We felt that that property inspection process hadn’t been properly explained to us by FJL as part of the letting process and so we didn’t really know what to expect, but Jean went out of her way to ensure that once she arrived, we felt comfortable with what she would be doing, what the purpose of her visit was and what the next steps would be. She was very polite and incredibly respectful of our space and personal belongings. Thank you, Jean.

I don't normally leave reviews online, but FJL has been so fantastic that I feel obliged to do so. I feel extremely lucky to have Martin Lawes (Greenwich branch) as my agent, he is perfect, pretty much an example for all real estate sales reps out there! Martin has great sales techniques which put clients at ease and never pressure them in purchasing decisions. He does anything that is expected from him so well. I have asked to view the flat repeatedly for 3 times, but Martin has been kind to accommodate and helps to find answers to questions that I have. What impresses me most is how Martin has been so involved in the whole process throughout, I have experienced some issues with conveyancing, but Martin has stepped in to assist me in resolving and frequently provide me with updates and professional advice, surely he is doing a better job than my solicitors!

I had suffered in a disgusting flat rented in London for one year. Even though my offer was conditional (the flat must be whitewashed/painted) I had just empty promises even after the move, from Inga Nair that it will be done. Finally, I had to say enough is enough and I will suspend the rental fees with the same number of days as the far as flat is still dirty. So the painters came on the next day...Then I had to fight with the landlord to scrap the old bed. (The bed's condition it was not visible when viewing from the stuff of the previous tenant.)Then I had to fight to have the kitchen lighting (old school neon) fixed. I cleaned and painted myself the old bathtub, replaced the rusty microwave, carpet-cleaned the old sofa etc. I never had non-biassed support from Inga. She said I can replace the old bed on my account, but the new bed must stay then. Inga Nair is the kind of typical estate agent we all hate.Dishonest promises, with always smiley face.

avoid this place at all cost. The agent called Ayo set up an appointment on Saturday morning a couple days before the viewing. I called an hour before the viewing on the day to confirm. The people in the office claimed they got in touch with him and confirmed. Then I travelled an hour to get there only to be informed that the apartment is not available anymore. this agency has serious issues with treating people with respect and I believe this has to do with the fact that I have an ethnic name so it was okay for them to treat me this way.

GoogleAfter looking through several flats, I was finally satisfied after viewing one with Lucy from FJ Lord. Lucy is a brilliant negotiator. She effectively conveyed the reasons behind each offer, between me and the landlord, which led to a very satisfying contract, easier said than done. I felt she was not favoring one over the other, but genuinely trying to form a satisfying agreement for both of us. Some parts of the process were also new to me, but she was always enthusiastic and professional in explaining my options or providing useful advice. I truly appreciate her assistance and will return if I require another flat in the future. Many thanks!
