GoogleIgnored my emails for 2 weeks then called me 8 times over the course of an hour on Saturday morning (presumably for a viewing, I wouldn't know they didn't leave a voicemail). If someone doesn't pick up the phone after 2 attempts, leave a voicemail as clearly they're busy. Don't call every 5 minutes for an hour, at a time people MAY BE ASLEEP. No one likes pushy estate agents. I reached out about a few flats after this and never got any of the emails/flat details they promised to share so gave up with them

GoogleGot a very nice flat in London to rent through FJL, check-in, contract renewals and check-out process was very smooth and all easily handled on email. We were impressed by how the deposit was handled and returned to us quickly, Gen-Lun Wong processed our deposit return as soon as the owner had reviewed the property check-out report and confirmed all was good.

GoogleIt's always bad to have an unresponsive landlord/property manager. But with FJ Lord I considered calling in the coroner as there were often no signs of life at all!!! " Could all their agents and representatives be dead?" I thought? No, just turns out they were just really bad at their jobs and the only time they'd return communications or initiate them was when money was involved. E.g. request for damage to be repaired - no replies. BUT If we suggested that we'd organise a builder to repair the damage and have the invoice sent to FJ Lord the response time was minute.... We still never managed to get the damage repaired though. Smh. Also, after some significant damage made it impossible to live in our flat FJ Lord came chasing us for rent even though we had agreed with the landlord directly (FJ Lord copied in every step of the way) that no rent would be payable! Thought this would be obvious since the place was unlivable but idk - can't help some people...

GoogleI appreciated they showing me the place on Saturday late afternoon, only a few hours after I enquired about a place. The renting process was easy, but lots of paperwork required (as expected), the agent (Inga) was helpful and the lease went through within a week from the first enquiry. Thank you.

GoogleGemma really went out of her way to help me and was extremely professional and friendly! When it came to viewing the flat, because I didn’t live in the London area, she very kindle FaceTimed me so I could speak to the current occupants and have a proper look before signing. I was a bit anxious about moving to London and she made me feel very comfortable! It made life so much easier! She kept in constant contact with me and nothing was too much to ask. GoogleGemma at F. J. Lord is one of the rare estate agents we came across that was completely honest, and gave us advice on the best way to secure the property we now are due to be living in. She gave us updates out of hours in the waiting for landlord approval. Highly recommend going with this estate agents if you're looking for speedy process and honest agents.
