I was met with dishonesty, rudeness, unprofessionalism and inconsistency. I was dismissed, before any checks or referencing processes were conducted and told the property was off the market when it was available and advertised to others.

HI Nasser, I'm sorry to hear that. I have just listened to the phone call you had with my colleague Rhys today, where I feel he explained everything quiet well. Unfortunately the property you were interested in had an offer come in prior to your offer. It seems as though you were not in the best financial position to move forward regardless and you hadn't even viewed the property yourself yet? It is our landlords that determine who they wish to rent their homes not us.
We have a process where although the owner had excepted an offer the property is not officially taken off the market. At this point we do not carry out further viewing , as this would be a waste of everyone's time.
As my colleague mentioned in the call, he had been honest with you, certainly wasn't rude nor unprofessional but had apologised if a part time and and fairly new member of our team said anything different. He also offered to help you find another property (but had said your position may be an issue) which you declined. Good luck with your search.

GoogleWe have been scammed by the owner of this agency himself. He has mislead us to sign a contract. We have paid £400 deposit for the property. The agent decided to make us unaware that if we fail reference check, the deposit wouldn’t be returned to us. The agent had refused to show us the failed reference form. He gave no description of why the check had failed. Interestingly we have passed the same check with a different agency three weeks later with no issues. PLEASE AVOID at all costs! If you have dealt with similar issues or have unfairly lost more money to this agent. Please contact me as we are currently in touch with a solicitor and are planning a group action claim for Court to get our money back.
