Lauren at Dexters Streatham Estate Agents was instrumental in helping me and my partner find our new rental home. She was on hand every step of the way in our search and agreement of contracts. She showed great attention to detail and made sure our property requirements were met to the best of her abilities with every viewing we had. We never felt as though our time was being wasted or that we were being sold a bad bill of goods for the sake of chasing results and felt heard and valued throughout the processsed. It’s worth noting that our case was handed over to a central Dexters team, who pressurised us constantly (Talvinder). Dexter’s Streatham also undervalued our property, so I’m grateful we didn’t sell our property with them.

Throughout the buying process, from looking at properties through to completion, I cannot express how fantastic Dexters in Streatham Hill were and Jamila Ruiz in particular. She kept an eye out for the types of property I was looking for, giving me a heads up when things fitting the bill came onto the market and getting me in quickly for viewings. I could not recommend Dexters enough, everyone who I have had the pleasure in speaking to throughout this process we’re extremely kind, professional and always willing to help. I’ve just finished the process of buying my first flat and have had a few hurdles along the way with mortgage offers and soliciors. However, my estate agent Jamila helped me through this stressful period. Jamila was nothing but patient and was always on the other end of the phone or email to help answer my questions and direct me through the process. She constantly kept me posted on progress and also directed me to a new solicitor which speeded up the process and definitely reduced my stress levels. We had great service from Dexter’s throughout this purchase. My son was a first time buyer and his mortgage offer was time-limited, so he was really up against it to get everything through in time. Henry Beard was the agent at Dexter’s who was liasing with both side’s solicitors, the seller, my son (the buyer) and quite a few more besides. He was very on the ball, prompt in getting back to us, courteous at all times and very good at chasing things up. Would certainly be happy to use Dexter’s again for a sale or purchase.
