I encourage everyone to do their research before engaging with this company. The owner’s previous companies: ASLAN HOMES LTD was dissolved via compulsory strike-off on 08/2/2022 and ISLAND HERITAGE LTD was dissolved via compulsory strike-off on 16/7/2019. Note when doing your research, CKB Estate Agents is not a registered company with Companies House. BICER & KEMAL LTD or HEISEL PROPERTY LTD are 2 of the businesses that are registered under the owner’s name, both operating for buying, selling and letting of own or leased real estate. My experience with them: CKB estate agents accepted our application for tenancy and had us pay a holding deposit on 4/8/2023. After over a month of continuously assuring us we would be able to move in, Kemal Bicer informed me 5 days before the move in date on 11/9/2023, that I did not pass referencing due to inadequate information and that I needed to pay 6 months of rent up front to move in. Obviously that was not financially possible and we were left with nowhere to live, to top it off Kemal then refused to refund our holding deposit which is completely illegal. I don’t know how Kemal can sleep at night, for the sake of illegally pocketing £450 and having just put 2 girls in a situation of homelessness. He is completely aware that it is unlawful to withhold a holding deposit due to “a failed reference check” and he refuses to refund the money, despite himself and his staff continuously providing false and misleading information and making us wait through so many avoidable delays. It is no surprise that the government has previously shut down 2 of his prior businesses.

GoogleCKB have been extremely helpful with our move, working to budget & giving us a a variety of different options. Cengiz’s customer service was unmatched, going above and beyond. Thank you!! I’m aware they do seasonal community work with nearby schools aswell. Nice to see a local company that values its community. Will most certainly be recommending.

GoogleIf I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst experience of my life with a letting agency. I would strongly suggest using literally any other letting agency in London, do not waste your time here. EDIT: In response to the agency's response here, it is laughable you do not have our details considering we launched formal complaints against you.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I'm afraid that I am unable to locate your details on our database to investigate into the matter and help resolve the issues you have been experiencing with our services. Edit: Further to your edited reply we have now looked into the matter further and located the property in relation to your complaint. You are correct, you did loge a formal complaint against our agency through the property ombudsman despite advising you numerous times that the decision by the existing Tenant to refuse to vacate the property on the agreed date was completely out of our hands. As you have referred to your "formal" complaint it is also worth mentioning that The Property Ombudsman, after reviewing the both sides, decided to closed the case and take no further action as our actions were deemed reasonable, fair and the decision by the Tenant not to vacate the property on the date originally agreed was, once again, out of our control. As we have advised plenty of times, we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you however we too spent plenty of time, resources and accumulated costs with relation to preparing the administrative tasks in readiness for your Tenancy which did not materialize.

GoogleI thought I would give these guys a shot as they had only recently opened, were offering a very competitive promotion and there office looked lush! Overall I’m glad that I had the pleasure to deal with these gents and they did not fail to impress! Cengiz and his team were brilliant and I’ve already had 6 viewings. Highly recommend.

CKB is the best. They made everything very easy for me, from moving in to moving out and everything in between. Fatlum and Kelly were great every time. I had an issue with the washing machine in the apartment and it was deal with in no time. Everyone is always on top of everything. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

GoogleI went for a view of a house listed by CKB in Orpington, I live up near Manchester. The viewing went fine and the lady showing me round was very nice. Unfortunately, post viewing I received no more contact from CKB, even though I was interested in placing an offer on the property. I sent multiple emails to different emails and heard nothing back. I believe it is because someone else had their offer accepted. It would be polite and professional to inform any other interested parties of the situation. This was rather disappointing, especially since I travelled all the way from Manchester to South London, a waste of my day and money.

CKB estate agents were very professional with helping us with our first property tenancy. Kelly and Fatlum were a pleasure to work with and we had some good banter along the way! Fatlum helped us with all the necessary paper work and once we had moved into the property, Kelly was brilliant at resolving any issues we encountered.Highly recommended!
