GoogleCengiz and the team were awesome. We originally went with Purple Bricks and they totally switched off once we'd paid them. As soon as we switched to CKB we got multiple viewings and got a sale during an incredibly tough time in the housing market. Couldn't be happier with their service.

Avoid renting at any cost. The branch manager Fatlum has rented me the property belonging to himself, so he was the agent and the landlord as well. Then the time came for me to move out, he decided to keep £1000 of the deposit for various things, such as "rust on the bottom of the radiator", "dusty window", "burn marks on the gas stove hob", "greasy to touch steam extractor hood" and so on. Some of the things he was asking money for were there then I moved in, others were so minor that he even didn't bother to clean of fix them before letting the new tenant in. And the property report the new tenant received said that the property was in perfect condition. Had to appeal to Deposit Protection scheme and wait 3months to get the deposit back.Also even if you're agreeing to stay for another year, he's asking every year to pay additional administrative costs for the renewal of the contract.
Dear Mindaugas,Firstly the information you have stated in your review is false and inaccurate. Fatlum is not the branch manager nor is he the landlord of the property you were renting. The name on the agreement which you signed doesn't state Fatlum as the landlord so please refrain from posting inaccurate and false information. Prior to 2019 Letting agents were able to charge fees to Tenants for administrative tasks which is why you were charged £75 + VAT for the renewal agreement (a legally binding document stating the terms of your renewal). This was standard and we never hid away from this our fees were published on our website as well as in our office. We apologize for the experience you had with our agency however do not appreciate you publishing false and incorrect information which in turn is tarnishing our brand. We kindly ask that you reconsider your review and update accordingly.

GoogleI have recently moved in to a property managed by CKB and dealt with at least 3 different people so far on different occasions. I have always had a fast and satisfactory response to my problems/requests. After reporting some maintenance concerns, I had someone sent to my house in less than 1hr after I called(literally!) I also had to contact them as an emergency during the weekend (alarm triggered) and they managed to resolve this within minutes over the phone. I can’t speak on behalf of others but so far, from my experience, I would highly recommend CKB.
