I recently moved with the help of Jack Theodore (Chestertons South Kensington). Jack was extremely helpful. Firstly, he showed me the best flat that fit my requirements (and beyond). Secondly, when we got the flat he was available throughout the process to answer any questions and solved all my queries. He also immediately sorted my payment issues that happened last minute because he knew this was my only day to move and I had no flexibility. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thanks Jack!!

Helped us find the perfect property!

I had to find a new property to rent during a very competitive time. There were hardly any properties on the market and I was getting really nervous about securing a place. Faye was wonderful and went above and beyond to help find (and secure!) the perfect place for me and my girls. She was supportive and patient throughout the entire process, from start to finish. This was my 4th time having to find a new rental in London and I can honestly say that it was the first time I had such a positive experience with a lettings agent. We were on a time limited week We had viewed over 10 properties by the time we met Otto and quite frankly were fed up of pushy, egocentric, sales based Estate agents so when Otto turned up we were ready for another overbearing, presumptuous person.Otto was the opposite.His relaxed, easy going, knowledgeable but ambitious manner was an absolute pleasure to be around. Vanessa at Chestertons is amazing!

Vanessa Newman-Wright, who manages the property on behalf of the landlord, has been amazing. Over the last year, both our washing machine and fridge have required replacing, and Vanessa has followed up with the landlord on both occasions promptly, causing us minimal disruption. Vanessa also recommended some additional works in the house after an inspection, which again was completed quickly. Vanessa was put in charge of the property we rent approximately six months into the tenancy. Since then, our experience with Chestertons has been great.

When I was looking to rent my flat out for the first time recently a friend suggested Chestertons. Aaron Menashy from the team guided me through the whole process and made it super simple and straightforward. He understood that this was my 'home' that I was looking to rent and gave me the confidence to become a first time around landlord by finding me the perfect tenant. Aaron was there every step of the way and guided me through all of the certificates etc that were required, and really took away any stress or doubts around the whole process. Just completed a lease renewal with one of their senior consultants (Niema Latif).Been dealing with Chestertons the last several years as they handle my lease. But can say on hand on heart that this was by far one of the quickest, most polite and professional renewals I have had. Honest review

We had a very bad experience at the beginning of our tenancy with Chestertons. The communication was poor, with our emails often receiving slow or nonexistent replies. The technicians hired by Chestertons were dreadful, frequently failing to show up and making excuses. For example, our washing machine broke and wasn’t fixed for three months.However, our experience improved significantly when we got a new property manager, Joyce Pau, later in the year. Joyce was brilliant, she communicated effectively and ensured that things got done promptly. Joyce would receive 5 stars, but unfortunately, the rest of our experience with Chestertons would only get 1 star.

I would like to thank Stephanie Russo for her support in letting out our flat. She has find the right tenant, convinced us to rent through Chesterton and facilitate a smooth process taking into account it was our first time renting our property. Unfortunately, our tenant had to terminate the tenancy agreement 6 months earlier. One again, she had been extremely helpful supporting us through terminating the contract and finding new tenant. A great process end-to-end

Chestertons in Fulham recently helped us find a new place to live. Issy - who was our rep - shared places that were relevant and was always able to work around our schedule to view them. She took our brief and was spot on each time with her recommendations - with other agents, we wasted a load of time in viewings that were far off - conversely we offered on 2/2 of the places we viewed with Issy.When a place came up we loved, Issy moved quickly to help us secure it, arranged second viewings to help the move-in and stayed close to the work happening / needed to make sure it was done. Any challenges that came up, Issy was on top of and solved quickly, usually with 24h.We were always made to feel like we were a priority for Issy and it’s been great working with her throughout the process.

Putney Chestertons/Stephen O'Connell

Putney Chestertons and Stephen O'Connell in particular - absolutely awful. Refused to reply once to multiple phone calls, emails and even hid in the office to avoid me. Attempted to DOUBLE our rent, and when I finally managed to see him in the office, his reply - "Not my problem". Avoid at all costs, as being a 6 year impeccable tenant did nothing to help the nightmare of dealing with this company, and particularly Stephen O'Connell and Property Manager Joyce Sorkpor and her manager Anna Bartczak. These three in particularly utterly useless at their jobs, and standard customer service response was either "Not my problem" or "Sort it yourself". Avoid unless you want a stream of endless issues such as no working oven for 6 months (including over Xmas), section of the house roof falling off (another 6 months) and too many others to mention. Joke staff embarrassing an otherwise previously reputable company. I for one will never trust them again. Utterly appalling.

Efficient, reliable and friendly.

The team at Pendletons seem very organised; Lorna was great helping me to find and secure an apartment and Suzan made sure the moving in process was smoothly handled. To be honest I initially thought the slogan "you can depend on Pendletons" was a little on the cheesy side, but I did feel I could depend on them! Furniture in contract not in flat

We moved into a property in the area and it was a complete shambles. After speaking to George Porter at Chestertons, we were assured it would be fully furnished, but when we arrived, furniture promised in the flat, such as a sofa, was simply not there when we arrived due to previous tenants taking it with them. We were offered a small compensation amount, and when we spoke to Hannah Al-Sayyah Marla and explained it did not simply cover the costs, she threatened to hold the money they offered.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Amanda Goodman from Chestertons has been a great help all through my tenancy swap process.Even though the process became tiresome due to various reasons out of our control, she kept her calm.
