Awful communicators. I had to chase repeatedly. Would get vague and unsupportive answers when I did actually get them. Prior to getting my listing they were exceptionally helpful, but afterwards I was an inconvenience, at best. They seemed purely willing to do the minimum. I had a "fully managed service" yet tenant felt it repeatedly necessary to contact me directly as he actually wanted support. From a landlord's perspective, I would not trust them with my property.

Terrible service, not replying to emails for last two months. I do not recommend them as a tenant. I was living with them for a year. After a year I gave a notice about moving out from the property. This notice was confirmed by the agency and they replying that my move out date is 2nd of August so I happily moved out in July 2018 (before my move out date). In June 2019, I received an email from insurance company claiming that I have outstanding legal costs. After opening attachments I figured out that there was a court order for not paying rent against me in December 2018. The court order was for the dates after my move out date (10th of August to November 2018). I didn't know about the court to defend myself as the letters were sent to address where I was not living anymore. I contacted insurance agency as well as Central Estate Agents in June as I thought it was a mistake to submit me to the court. Insurance agency was really supportive and communicative, which sadly is not the case for Central Estate Agents. They didn't reply to my 5 emails since June, it is difficult to call responsible people in the office and when i did manage to contact them they hanged after I told them that the call is being recorder.

When I registered with Central Estates, I was happy to read the reviews. Unfortunately, during my time with them, they sent customers to me without any rep and turned up at the door. The Estate Agent gave me no feed back from those customers who visited the property. Although I was promised a call back, there was no response! I then, gave my two weeks notice to finish the contract, they were not bothered, nor were they interested to reply back to my cancellation e-mail. Not a very good service for me.

There is a lot of choice with agents in Walthamstow but Central certainly seem to know the market inside out and I was more than happy with the value delivered and sale I completed on. Inflexible. Haven't even moved in as a tenant, but Central are already showing their service to tenants is well below par. Manaan, a senior member of staff, provides no solutions and prefers to dodge responsibility. Let's see how things pan out over the course of our tenancy.

Very unprofessional. They moved a viewing from 6pm Monday to Tuesday, which I obliged. Drove 45 mins to view the house was there at 6pm, rang office at 6:05 to see where they were. Said their colleague had left our viewing so he wouldn’t be late for his next . Unbelievable . Wouldn’t sell your house with them if you want potential buyers to actually view the house!

I sold my flat in Leyton 8 years ago with this bunch of lying crooks and I really wish I hadn't. Richard Mahar (the manager) is a lying, money grabbing slimeball, and Danny (who was my sales person) was throughly unpleasant and aggressive, shouting at me down the phone to accept offers and reduce the price of my flat. They overvalue your property to get you on their books then try to bully you into lowering the price and accept a cheap offer so they can get a quick and easy sale. All the positive reviews are no doubt fake reviews written by Central themselves, because no one in their right mind would recommend these lying con men.

We purchased our first property in Walthamstow in August 2018. We would thoroughly recommend Central Estates. In particular, Rich worked tirelessly to assist us over the course of many viewings and our ultimate purchase. He was willing to take calls at weekends and also whilst on holiday to ensure our transaction was driven forward and got over the line successfully. The other numerous Central Estates sales staff that we encountered were all very friendly, approachable and helpful. A big thanks to all. All had good knowledge of the local area and all houses on the market. We would also note, that, on the whole Central Estates seem to be sensible on the prices that they value properties at compared with some other agents in the area.

I never thought I'd say the phrase "My estate agents were great" but that genuinely was the case with Central. I had a long chat with Neil when I first went in, about the area and what I was after. He was so friendly and felt like he actually cared - especially as a first time buyer. Then I went on viewings with Rich, who was also great. Not pushy at all and also felt like he was just as excited as me. Great comms from everyone involved. I went to see other estate agents on the street and it felt like me asking just to be on their list was like I'd just punched their cat. Another agent on the street does group viewings, which was also a horrendous experience. Central were the total opposite, making that whole side of the process actually stress free - once the buyer had accepted my offer, there was no more back and forth. Couldn't recommend enough.
