These people are the absolute worst. Before we moved in the agent promised the flat would be cleaned but when I came to take the keys I found “used” tissues under the bed bearing in mode this was at the height of the covid pandemic yet no care was taken to clean under the bed or the sofa. The two years we lived there the mountain of maintenance requests just keep being ignored to the point that water damage to the flat is still there almost 2 years later even as they try to get a new tenant in. Stay away from these people they will do all the can to steal from you, it’s now almost a month since we left and they are still tying to charge us extra rent and refuse to return our deposit.

Thank you very much to Sam for cooperation. I’m only leaving this positive feedback because of SAM. As I believe he tried his best to secure a rental flat for me till the last minute. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM: I passed my referencing with GOODLORD then the landlord changed his mind at the last minutes because of some cash deposit in a month statement into my account that was made by myself then I showed him my 12 months statements which cited that I withdrew this myself in past months statement & my Divorce letter with explanation of what I went through as it was requested by other agent to show landlord. But after checking, the landlord comes with a Ridiculous excuse saying like he doesn’t wanna take a risk as I might be doing money Laundering where I challenged him that I can prove my all income are Genuine with full Tax paid since last 15 years as I have been working in full time Basis at ARGOS & and a restaurant last 15 years. I was also willing to pay him full rent upfront from the beginning of full one year contract & in fact, I’ve offered him £50 on top of his asking price per month as I needed it in last minute . It seems like the landlord knows more then reference company & law in the uk or got another client Even though I put holding deposit. But, after few days, Sam called me saying the landlord is willing to go ahead again with the tenancy agreement with me. But it was too late as I put some holding deposit with other agency as I’m at the last minutes to get a flat before I become homeless. So, from my experience, the owner of CEDAR AGENT should come up with some Stick rule like He implies tenant.

The worst estate agency I've ever dealt with, very unprofessional and rude. We dealt with Jordan who I believe didn't even present our initial offer to the landlord (against the law). Hung up the phone on my flatmate, would ask the same questions over and over then claim he had too many properties to remember any of our details, would claim to have called our parents about guarantor details and not actually done so, asked for 3 months of bank statements which we were all uncomfortable giving with little explanation as to why, wanted only male guarantors and showed lack of respect for the females involved in the transaction. Very unwilling to help and came off as obnoxious. If you are a student AVOID THIS AGENCY, in the end our property fell through because Jordan put us the tenants, our guarantors and the landlord in such uncomfortable/ uncertain positions that the landlord felt unsure of proceeding as did we. The property we were looking to rent is now still on the market and has been reduced, if Jordan actually knew how to do his job this would not be the case. Don't trust this agency!

Pro Israel, Racist Landlords, LIARS, RED FLAGS!!!!!

Let’s start of by saying if you are Jewish/Israeli you will be looked after. Meaning cedar estates (AXXX CXXXX & JXXXX CXXXXX’X) won’t raise ridiculous RPI increase every year and if anything, you are well looked after. You won’t be paying market rent either. You will be slightly just under and kept happy all the way. Apparently, these tenants are supposed to be absolute golden. As mentioned, several times (we look after our own- FACTS!)

I approached Alex at Cedars after other agencies in West Hampstead had failed to appropriately market my flat. Alex provided me with honest advice on pricing and within a week had marketed the flat, had a number of viewings lined up and promptly found me a tenant who are still here 3 years on. Alex has been a key person in managing the flat and always goes above and beyond to help both the landlord and tenant. I find Alex extremely trustworthy and would have no doubt in recommending him to others or letting/managing my flat in future or approaching him generally for any property advice.

Genuinely amazing service from Alex Croft at Cedars Estates. We've been renting our flat with Cedars for a number of years now and we can speak highly enough of the service Alex has offered. He quickly won us over with his knowledge of the local rental market, his professionalism and his friendliness. Within a week, we'd already had a number of viewings and he worked tirelessly to try get us the best possible offer. The flat has been continuously occupied ever since without any gap between tenants. In addition to helping us negotiate competitive rates with tenants and managing the property successfully, he always respond to phone calls and emails immediately. By far the most money grabbing agency I’ve come across in London. When we left the property Cedar tried to charge us for professional cleaning and for damage to the property (even though they had taken a photo at the beginning of the tenancy which showed the damage was already there, which we pointed out to them!!). We eventually got all of the disputed money back through arbitration. Also rude and dismissive. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have rented my first home in London with Cedar Estates, during the viewing process, Jordan was really helpful, he understood my requirements and lead it smoothly. It was an excellent service throughout the time that I lived in the flat. If had any questions I always had a quick reply from Victoria. And Niamh was SUPER helpful with everything, she really does love her job you can see it in her effort, nowadays you can't find nice people like Niamh :) I would definitely rent from them again in the future !

Very happy with Cedar Estates and highly recommend them, particularly Jordan and Sophie. On my very first visit, Jordan found me the perfect flat for the right price in the right location, after I'd been searching for several months with other agencies. Sure to some extent this was luck, but also Cedar Estates seemed to have a nice variety to suit all budgets and needs, and Jordan knew his stock very well, understood exactly what I was looking for after a brief conversation, and made a viewing happen immediately. I offered on the spot. Sophie was lovely to deal with regarding the handling of my tenancy agreement. She answered all my queries promptly and was able to clarify the bits of "real estate-ese" that I didn't understand. As with any agreement, there was negotiating to be done, but this was always very pleasant and professional, and in the end, I think both parties were satisfied. I haven't actually moved in yet, so I can't review Cedar Estates as a management agency, but so far dealing with them has been very pleasant, and the few conversations I've had already with Vicky, the management person, have been very pleasant too and she has been very accommodating with my move-in requests, which all bodes well for a good tenancy.

Horrible and dangerous! They do not do any maintenance in their flats. There was a leak next to the electric sockets and the refused fixing it. They just brought a builder to spray paint it. The are rude and unprofessional. It is by far the worst agency I dealt with.

Horrible service from the sales team to property management team. Sales team demanded references for de facto future earnings ('can you prove that you will be earning that amount in a few months') - when we refused (after providing already numerous documents and references), and asked for landlord's decision, suddenly the references were not needed and landlord accepted. As per the property management team, the flat has had numerous leaks from the first month we moved in and they were not being fixed properly which resulted in the house being flooded twice (to date!). The contractor literally put some duct tape on the roof as a way of 'fixing it' the first time... they have not fixed a leak in the bedroom for 2 days and 2 nights and when I pointed out that we cannot sleep at night because we are afraid that our flat is being flooded, the answer was 'well depends how hard it is going to rain'. Also from the beginning, the intercom was broken and fixed so badly, that it broke twice. They try to save money but using the worst contractors possible which ends up making the situation worse. The team call you and promise you things and cleverly do not send emails confirming them, so we do not have it in writing and they deny ever saying them. My boyfriend and I viewed a flat with Jordan, one of the agents. After telling him that we were not sure whether to put down and offer because the tent was high, he insisted that we did, saying that we are high profile tenants etc etc. So we did, and the offer was accepted immediately. After we provided everything they requested (deposit, documents, references etc), Jordan called us to tell us that the landlord has changes is mind and wanted more money. Clearly a lie to cover the fact that they had a better offer. Moral of the story, they pulled out knowing that the same day we were giving back our flat and leaving for 2 months to Europe visiting family. One week later, we are still waiting for our deposit back and the flat is still off the market, proving our suspicions regarding a second, higher offer. The level of unprofessionalism of these people left us speechless. Poor customer service, dishonest and inhumane. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
