GoogleSome of the most difficult, defensive & unhelpful estate agents i've ever had to deal with. At every stage of communication, they were combative & just generally lacked any customer service skills. Trevor being the worst to deal with. Avoid if you can

TrustpilotForcing flat viewers to reveal their savings. Beware.
Just spoke to one of the estate agents on the phone, requesting for flat viewing. That agent kept asking me how much savings I have and got really aggressive to extort that information. I asked for the amount the landlord is looking for and I will make sure that amount appears in my bank account. He refused to answer and called me uncooperative many times. I had to cut his line and tell him that he is being dishonest and unprofessional in trying to extort money from clients by forcing them to reveal how much savings they have. This agent never reveals his name. I have blocked their phone number and will make sure never to use their service. Beware of this company.

GoogleRelatively smooth experience with moving in as well as sorting out more of the admin side of moving house. Amir was the agent we used and he was very prompt and helpful with sorting out the different aspects of our new house.

GoogleI had to leave London before the end of my contract due to personal and family issues. Despite giving a two-month notice, the agents at Cedar Estates made every effort to pressure me into continuing to pay for an empty apartment while the maintenance had been good but not excellent. If you’re looking for understanding and human-centered service, I strongly recommend avoiding Cedar Estates.

GoogleJordan went above and beyond to help us secure the flat we wanted. This included over an hour of evening viewings - immediately followed by another hour showing the same flats again to my partner after she was held up at work! Boring and time-consuming for him, but he was cheerful and helpful the whole time. Always available by phone to answer questions; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and Cedar!

GoogleI live below the flat that they manage, which flooded my flat TWICE. (both on the weekend) They don't have any emergency service on the weekend, so I spent my weekend keeping an eye on the leaking and mopping. Also I don't appreciate how they handled the situation. The woman I spoke (I won't mention her name but it's the same one as some people mentioned here) wasn't very pleasant to talk to.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleAfter total flooding of my flat - courtesy of Thames Water - the place was rendered completely uninhabitable. Living abroad, this was a real nightmare scenario, as there was no way I could manage myself the total refurbishing project and dealing with the tenants, Thames water, their insurance and all the contractors. Cedars stepped in, and Viktoria Herkner, the assigned property manager from Cedars, did a stunning job. Didn't loose a penny's rent in the end, and a disaster turned into an opportunity: I have a brand new flat now. Really nice job by her and her colleagues!

He's been a pleasure to deal with, helping us on every step of the way and always a phone call away when we need him. Have also received highly complementary feedback on him from our tenants. After dealing with a very stressful and frustrating situation with my gas and electric provider as I was awaiting their annual check, she worked hard for weeks to help solve it and finally managed to get them to come to my property to carry out their long awaited visit. GoogleWe rented from Cedar Estates for 2 and half years and i have no complaints at all. We had some minor issues with a cracked window and with the boiler and these were resolved quickly and professionally. Also at the end of the tenancy, the finance team sorted out an over payment very speedily. I would definitely be happy to rent through them again in the future.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI was off to a bit of a rough start, after I signed the agreement I often felt left without updates, but since starting to rent the place, things have changed. Since Niamh Gomm has been taking care, things has been really good and worked on effectively. Was positively surprised to get things fixed next day or in two days since reporting.

GoogleBe careful with these guys. The estate agent is owned by the same people that own the properties. They don't manage any other properties. They don't tell you this. But that's how it is. Expect to receive inflation busting rent rises. And prepare yourself for a fight to get your deposit back.

GoogleCedar Estates proved to be a complete disaster throughout our rental period. The initial state of the flat was dirty and poorly maintained, and our emails regarding maintenance issues were consistently ignored. Despite multiple requests, a severe mold problem in one of the bedrooms went unaddressed for over six months, posing a serious health concern. Their rude behavior during our move-out process was unprofessional. Moreover, they attempted to unjustly withhold our deposit by fabricating maintenance and cleaning claims. Thankfully, arbitration helped us reclaim most of our deposit. Avoid renting from Cedar Estates at all costs!!

GoogleWe have used Cedar Estates for several years. We deal with Alex Croft only and we get an excellent service. Alex manages our property and finds us the best tenants. Alex Croft is very trustworthy and we take all of his advice with regards to tenants, fees, and how the rental market is. We wouldn’t use anyone else. Thank you Alex.

GoogleI was interrested in renting a flat from this agency, i went there in person and talked to a lady who is called AMANDA, we have arranged a viewing for the day after, but she was supposed to call me and confirm later on that day, but I havent received any call from her. And the day after nothing at all. I tried to call her and left a voicemail but no answer,thats the worst estate agent I have ever had to deal with.

GoogleAbsolutely fantastic service from Trevor and everyone at Cedar Estates. Our oven broke three days before Christmas when we were expecting to host 10 people for Christmas Dinner. We contacted Cedar on the 23rd and within 24 hours they had found and fitted our brand new oven, saving our Christmas. Without the excellent work of Trevor and his team our Christmas would have been ruined.
