They are really good, you not just a number but their priority. The service has been professional from viewings to actually signing the lease and making sure all your utilities are connected. We had been trying to sell our flat in Hendon for one-and-a-half years with various other estate agents, I think a total of 3 or 4. We never thought to go with Benham and Reeves who were the agent within the apartment complex, and within one week of them having the property we had accepted and agreed an offer. In particular, our agent, Thomas Grossi is such a dedicated individual who went above and beyond to ensure that the sale of the property went through even with various obstacles that were put in the way by third-party individuals. The lettings agent Rahim was very helpful throughout the process. He was clear about what the offer entitled us and explained everything well. He was also very accommodating of circumstances as they can usually change during a move. The management office which handles concerns post move were quite helpful and accommodating as well. Maz who is responsible for handling my flat has been arranging fixes and coordinating with us to help us in the process of the move. The administration office has some slack however. If someone is going on leave, they should forward their emails to their colleague or the person-in-charge instead of making people wait for them to return. Also, when they return, they need to clear out backlog soon.

Excellent, efficient management of my flat sale. Jeremy was friendly and efficient from the start, visiting to provide a valuation; then promptly introducing interested buyers. He would accompany them to view the property then feed back to me with prompt updates on their level of interest, or otherwise, which made the practicalities of a potentially complicated process very easy. Jeremy was also very supportive when my own onward purchase fell through, and was able to advise me on my options to locate another purchase, without jeopardising my eventual sale. The final negotiation with my actual buyer was made very stress-free and straightforward, and the eventual move happened without a hitch.

Never ending problems and expenses

Sadly the Agency, Agents and Landlord don’t take any responsibility after having failed informing me (tenant) about the Flat’s Fixed Hot Water/Heating Provider E.O.N. and a Faulty Boiler (repaired after having to chase days, that became weeks) I’m now being told by Syed Hussain (Property Manager) I’m liable for a Bill that I had no idea about - I asked in regards to Bills and I was told Electric, Water, Council and any I would personally want as Internet, TV license - I moved in and set up Accounts with an Electric company, Thames Water and Council.After a month I received a letter from E.O.N Heat addressed to “The Flat Occupier” I thought was a mistake. I called them and I was told they have a Fix Contract with the Development for over 70 years, they supply Hot Water and Heating, and I was told I consumed Heating and Hot Water and I owed them £90. I can’t choose a supplier for this service, and it’s incredibly expensive.In my contract there’s no mention at all of this Fix Supply for Heating and Hot Water.I had to chase to have someone coming to check the boiler, since I never used heating - we are in summer - plus I knew there was something wrong the Boiler, it would generate all the time a very high temperature in the whole property and make noises.After weeks of chasing Syed Hussain someone came in and indeed found a piece was faulty and that was the problem for the consumption of Heating, also explained me how to properly use the Boiler, I asked for this since I moved in and I was told by Syed Hussain to “watch videos on YouTube”I told the property manager I’m not responsible for that Bill since the Boiler was malfunctioning and also I was never told about this Fix Supplier.He refused in several emails, and then his final response:“The Landlord is being fare, so I have to pay half of the bill”It’s absolutely insane, now I’m having to contact The Council, Shelter, a Solicitor, and leave as many reviews as possible so nobody else gets treated as I’m being treated by Benham and Reeves.
