Dealing with Akelius is a disgrace. Honestly, anyone who has had to deal with the management would prefer a nail in their eye rather than dealing with these incompetent and unprofessional people. They do not respect the rules and regulations, and for any issue, they blame the resident. None of the people working there, including the managers, are qualified. Avoid if you have any interest in your health!

* DO NOT RENT FROM AKELIUS* Zero respect for tenants. They just want you to pay the rent, and if something broke you want wait for months. Nobody respond to calls or emails, they never put their name on so you never know who you are talking with. When you ask to escalate a complain the manager is never available (I doubt they have one). Very rude company.

Bunch of cowboys. Sent them an email regarding a property, no response back for 3 days. So I give them a call and ask them why i haven't heard anything back. They tell me it takes 24 hours to process your details, which makes no sense as I emailed my interest over 3 days ago. They say they will call me by the next day. I hear nothing back the next day, so I call again. They tell it now takes 48 hours to process everything and will call me back by tomorrow. The next day comes around and surprise, surprise nobody calls. Do these clowns think that I have nothing better to do, than play kiss chase with them. Unprofessional timewaters!

Lack of communication, organisations and professionalism. Enquiring about a property might turn in a very bad experience. They tell you to wait 24 working hours(3 working days) to be contacted but nobody does so. If you try to follow up over the phone they keep repeating the same, not sure why humans are working there as a cyborg might be able to do the job in the same why as they do. After more than a day chasing by phone, I managed to get hold of the Letting Manager. Situation didn’t change. Very slow in replying, a viewing was almost booked (finally after all that struggles!) but time never set, tried to do so, but it was impossible. They don’t know what they are doing. Worse agent ever you just waste your time with them better focus somewhere else.

I would give zero stars if I could. Firstly, they do not respond to e-mails you send them. I send more than 8 e-mails in a span of three weeks about two properties I‘m interested in renting and never got a reply (now four weeks later). Secondly, if you call them, they will tell you that they will get back to you within 24 hours. I have calle: numerous times and every time they told me the same and also never called back eventhough they said so. If you want to get lied to and like bad customer service this place is for you.

Got in touch with them via phone as I was interested in one of the properties for rent.I was told that no one is available atm but if I'm going to give them my details in 24h someone will get in touch with me. I've waited till next day and called them again. I was told again that no one from lettings is available but someone will get back to me in 24/48 hours.( they doubled the waiting time just in case) It's been few days since then and nothing. This guys are useless! If I would be a landlord, I would never work with them as they have 0 interes in doing their job.

Tried to arrange a viewing of a property. Inquired on Rightmove and called. The person I spoke to said I had wait to see if I get contacted in the next 48 hours. I did not get contacted, which is fine, the market is competitive. But 4 days later the same property was reduced on Rightmove, so I called again. I tried to arrange a viewing, but the person I spoke to on the phone said I can't speak to anyone in lettings and I can't arrange a viewing. Anyone renting their property through this company should be weary of the fact that people that meet all the requirements for an ideal tenant, who are keen to rent your flat at the higher listed rental price, couldn't even arrange a viewing. Every other estate agent in London I have dealt with has been extremely responsive and helpful, so I'm not sure what's happening with Akelius.

***AVOID*** I regret to inform you that my experience with Akelius was not up to my expectations. Throughout the entire process, I found their service to be horrible, subpar, and disappointing. Communication was consistently lacking, with no response at all and unanswered inquiries. It was frustrating to constantly follow up and feel like I was not a priority to the agent. Even when I asked to speak to a Manager to file an official complaint they literally told me that clients aren't welcomed to the Office nor provided me with a contact with the Manager to investigate further the horrible experience I have against them. Moreover, the agent's professionalism was lacking, with unprofessional behavior and a lack of attention to details of client management. The agent's knowledge and expertise in the real estate market were also underwhelming. They seemed ill-prepared and provided zero information on multiple occasions, which led to unnecessary complications and delays in the transaction. Additionally, the agency approach was horrible and made me uncomfortable. They often disregarded my preferences and did not take the time to truly understand my needs as a client. I would not recommend Akelius at all based on my experience. Their lack of communication, unprofessionalism, limited knowledge of customer relations management were disappointing and did not meet my expectations for a real estate agent. Avoid!

As others mentioned, enquired about a property which had just been posted on Rightmove. Enquired via phone and was told I will be contacted within "24 working hours". Even though I was told that the flat was still available and there had been no viewings, when I called after "24 working hours" I was told the flat had been on the market for 2 weeks and gone ages ago. Absolute lack of communication and pure misinformation
