Most probably the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. It takes them days to reply to an email and the reply usually contains no help at all. They say they will organise repairs and the months later nothing has been fixed. You get woken up 6 days a week by their building works next door just so they can get more tenants in to take more money while forgetting about the ones they already have. There are major issues with parcels being stolen, the front doors are broken so anyone can get in, the car park gate breaks and sometimes won’t open or close, X1 employ VCS to issue parking tickets to tenants who pay for a space and refuse to cancel the tickets. I won’t ever be renting with this company again and I advise you not to.

Any contractors who get asked to do work for these be very careful. Nearly every month invoices don’t get paid on time. I was doing on average 3/4 days a week with them and in 30 days I was not getting all my invoices paid on time. It drip feeds through with excuse after excuse. After 4 years I will no longer work for them and I’m still awaiting payment, one particular invoice 226 days overdue 🤦🏻♂️. It doesn’t help with the ridiculous high rate of staff turnover either, once you build a rapport with a staff member no sooner their gone. I’ve seen many contractors come and go for all the same reason….NONE PAYMENT and no it’s time for them to screw me over. It’s a shame as I liked doing the work for them and thought they could be the best letting agent around but look them up, read reviews, it tells you all.

TrustpilotX1 The Tower - avoid X1 Lettings
I have lived at x1 The Tower for three years now, and while the apartment is lovely the stress you will be put through due to the incompetence of x1 lettings is absolutely not worth it. They are a bunch of kids with a ridiculous staff turnover, as soon as the residents in our building get wind of a member of staff that actually responds to emails within about a month they no longer work there. Nothing is straightforward, everything will cause you stress and eat into your own free time trying to manage them yourself. Repairs do not get sorted. Booked contractors do not show up. Promises are absolutely not kept. We have issues with the building such as lifts being broke and floods on lower floors, in my line of work I am aware these problems could be sorted within the week as a matter of urgency but they leave things for months as they employ cowboy contractors who they aren’t trained to stand up to. Basically don’t waste your time with this company, as they won’t waste their time on you.

GoogleI am moving to liverpool soon and Ive been looking for a place for a while now. I found a studio that looked nice but Ive honestly been so stressed and disappointed. Ive been chasing them just for an email back about basic info. I have emailed multiple people and haven't heard back. I don't think ill pursue the studio anymore due to this.

The worst company we have ever dealt with, absolutely useless. Unable to contact anyone, response times are absolutely awful, promises consistently not met. Nobody communicates to eachother so only 1 person can deal with your query, that 1 person is never in the office or unavailable, promised call back after call back to never receive one, no idea about the terms and conditions of the contracts signed, told after giving adequate notice that we were unable to leave as not enough notice given then the next day after querying ourselves were actually we could leave, cannot stress enough how awful this company are do not go anywhere near them if you want to keep your sanity, there are not enough words to describe how terrible this company are. Please for the love of god do not do business with this company, they don’t even deserve a 1* rating. Absolute jokers.

The flats itself are nice, however managed by haymarketsThings are often broken and there are always “relevant contractors” coming out, however this takes weeks on endThe secure doors are currently broken on both ends of x1 Chatham, and random individuals have been roaming around the communal areas - security are aware of this and have reported this to x1 - with no action, complete disregard to safety.Our white goods had issues and this took from May to August to be fixed,I’d recommend elsewhere if you’re looking to rent with this company

Do you want to live in a place where your belongings are safe? A place where you can trust that the “secure main doors” do as promised. Do you dream of renting a studio with zero problems and a property manager who is willing and ready to help? A place where your concerns are heard and taken seriously? X1 is definitely not the place for you. If you wish to live in a place where you’re exposed to raw sewage flowing through your shower and toilet. X1 is where it’s at. If you’re dying for views of litter, fruityaromas of rubbish. Come on, fill your boots. Maybe you have a disability? Don’t worry, X1 will ensure that you’re placed on a high floor then delay the repair of your building’s elevator- equal opportunity is a must. Stairs for one? Stairs for all. We have specially designed slippery stairs, perfect for mothers and infant children to get to the bottom faster. Exorbitant rent, awful property management and poor living conditions. I’ll take a nudist holiday to Syria before I live here again.Award winning? Which awards? From who? That person is a liar and those rewards need to be revoked.
