Just had a viewing, room space was good, there was plenty room to walk around. Bathroom was good had couple shelves. Kitchen was nice as well.

While contemplating the sale of my property for reasons of investment viability, I contacted Amy for guidance in order to provide me an insight of the situation on the ground in the UK (I am an Expat). Amy's responses were always prompt and comprehensive and above all well balanced, non bias and objective. She provided me with great insight and sound advice how to approach the situation and make the best possible decision at the time. I could not ask for a better advisor/representative. I judge Amy as completely trustworthy, honest and highly competent. I do however need to stress that this experience refers specifically to Amy and not to X1 in general, especially the lettings side with which I do not have the same positive experience. Unfortunately on the lettings side I am not happy with excessive charges, a serious lack of responsiveness as well as continuous tardiness in receiving my financial statements and most importantly rental payments.

I saw a vacant property in Manchester Water on the website in August this year, so I immediately left my contact information to express my desire to view the property. After that, Asthy immediately contacted me to book a time to view the property. During the visit, Asthy gave me very detailed guidance and kindly led me to view the property. In all the subsequent application processes, he gave me very patient guidance and helped me successfully complete the application. I was able to get answers to all my questions during the application process, both from Ashty and other staff in the office when she was not in the office.

Messed around for the 2nd time , get told a different thing from each person you speak to on the phone ( that’s if they even answer ) , it seems no one in this company communicates with each other. The workers i’ve spoke to on the phone and by email are all useless and we’re no help at all. I would recommend to NEVER look into moving here. After waiting days and days for a response i’m not left with nothing it’s disgusting. Don’t know how to treat people with respect. By far the most stressful and worse company ever.

They are the worst!!!!!!The employees have a nonchalant and dismissive attitude.My end-of-tenancy charges were wrong, I was charged for damage that I did not cause. I showed them the evidence from the move-in and move-out report which clearly shows that the damage was there at the time of moving into the apartment, but they chose to completely ignore it. I sent multiple emails that were ignored and called to speak with the property manager Benn but they refused to pass the call to him. They are a complete rip-off!!!!!

Been with x1 for a few yrs now ,always difficult to receive payment on time,tenant pays them 5 to 6 days before I receive payment in my account,but I am been re assured that the payment has been made when I check no payment, keeping funds in there business account i feel like they are just using my apartment to make money for themself and the charges so extortionate been going on for almost 3years.

Would NOT recommend X1 Lettings. I was meant to move into my apartment in Manchester (X1 lettings the landmark). I had done everything I was told to and on my lettings hub application I was told to wait until the credit checks etc had been looked at. I was waiting for about 8 days so i became concerned and tried to get in-touch with the X1 lettings, they were useless and told me to ring lettings hub. I rang lettings hub to continuously be left on hold and then hung up on. The service is absolutely shocking and they are no help at all. I have also emailed the enquiry manager multiple times to just be ignored. Now my application has been cancelled and I am supposed to be moving for University in 1 week and iv been left with nothing at such short notice. The worse experience Iv ever had.
