GoogleI have made 4 investments with RW-Invest. 2 of them have been absolutely toxic. The guaranteed rent never got paid and was set up with a BVI company. The other remains a hole in the ground, filled with nothing but my money. The other 2 have not completed but currently have tenants in them arranged by some 3rd party. The sales process is nothing but a rushed scam designed to take your money quickly with no way back. You are forced to use their appointed solicitors who are purely transactional and offer no legal advice whatsover. It appears this type of investment with assured rentals is anything but. Maybe some investors have had success, I know of 12 who have similar issues as me. My advice is to stay away, RW-Invest do not do enough due diligence with their portfolio.

Hi Mark, It’s difficult to address each point raised here specifically without knowing some more details. We’ve searched for a Mark Jones on our systems but cannot locate you, we assume it may be a pseudonym? We urge you to contact us so that we can be of proper assistance to you. Whilst we do accept that there is clearly room for improvement with the service you experienced, we would not wish for any of our Investors to feel rushed, we must clarify that we never force anyone to use a specific law firm. Certain solicitors are recommended on the basis that they are experienced in dealing with particular Developers/build-types/Developer’s solicitors. This, along with their track record, generally makes for a smoother transaction. However, we have a few clients who do appoint their own representative. Without further details, we’re unable to comment on the level of service you received from your solicitor. It is clear that this experience would not be a result of our actions and we urge you to raise your concerns with the firm you chose. We are not a law firm, nor are we affiliated with any law firms. Please note that the developments we specialise in are typically Assured Rental return properties. The exception to this may be where a client purchases a property as a home for themselves, or where a client may choose to not take advantage of this. An underlease forms the basis of the Assured Rent and as part of that process, then of course a Developer will appoint a managing agent (referred to here as a third party) to secure tenants. The underlease is a legal document stating the obligation of the Developer to pay the agreed rental return to the Investor. As you say, some Investors, actually the vast, vast majority and enough for us to be rated “Excellent” on TrustPilot - have had a great success through RW Invest. RW Invest are committed to providing a personal and proactive service to each and every Investor. Again, we urge you to contact us on our main line and we will absolutely be of proper assistance to you.

I am a Hong Kong buyer so I was unable to view the property I wanted to buy in person at first.However, when I planned to buy my current property, I received a piece of paper listing out the furniture I should have. I also received two videos showing the interior of the property.And then I bought the property.Unfortunately, when I finally arrived in the UK in early August 2023 and entered the property, some furniture was missing.I contacted RW Invest. The post-sales team did give me a call or two in August for follow up and said they would fix it. And then no action.My letting agent and I kept urging their action. In October, I received a call from a staff of the sales team. (Obviously, even the sales team knew the matter!)Apart from introducing a new investment opportunity which I rejected, the staff said “the missing items should be easily fixed”. I trusted this statement naively.After that, I sent a few more emails to RW Invest. No reply. Now, it is mid-January 2024, 5-month is given RW Invest to fix the problem but in vain. I believe if I still want the missing items, I shall have to pay and buy them myself. I’d like to share my experience so as to remind the potential buyers - Think twice to buy properties from RW Invest or you plan to pay extra to get what you expect to have.Update on 22.3.2024I am grateful that Peter Sinclair, Post Exchange Area Manager, has closely follow up the issue.The issue is now resolved and I appreciate RW Invest tries to do what they can do.

I have exchanged contracts and not yet completed on my property, but so far Ryan and Kallum have been really helpful and have gone over and above what I was expecting. Many companies do not provide this level of care and attention. Customer service has been great, I just hope the after sales team are just as good.
