We rented a property from Moore and York and was the worst experience we have ever had to deal with. They either didn't responded to emails or were very late and only started responding sooner when the director was included. We had to get the PRS involved to have work carried out (issues with front door to the property and a leaking roof in the utility lean to) that was agreed many months before, one of which still wasn't sorted before we finally left. We were continually worried about the living room flooding for a second time as it previously flooded and took multiple weeks to get a new carpet layed. The side pass to the property filled with rain water and had very slow drainage. When phoning the office during a heavy rain period to seek assistance from their contractor we were asked to "bucket it out" because he is dealing with someone else, which is completely unacceptable to ask of a paying tenant. Overall we were very disappointed and frustrated with the experience we received and wouldn't wish anyone the same. If you're considering Moore and York for lettings I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Our initial contact with the service was very reassuring. We were very pleased with the company representative who discussed the sale and marketing of the house with us and who subsequently showed potential buyers around. We felt he was knowledgable, professional and confident. After the sale was agreed the office maintained good contact with us and worked hard to keep the various parties in communication. Our sale was successful. We sometimes felt we had to chase things up hence 4* (would have given 4.5* if i could). Ultimately we would definitely use this company again. in fact they sold our last house.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

The agent from Loughborough, Jason, came round at short notice and sorted all the necessary procedures, property details and photographs in one visit. I received the draft brochure within a couple of days and then it was marketed and sold within a week. The valuation was better than the competitors and the price was better too. I’ve been looking at a property but unfortunately for me it was impossible to book a view with these guys in Leicester branch. Viewings are done ONLY during working hours. Some people have cushy jobs!!! I could only do 5.15 and they couldn’t accommodate this so the earliest one was a weeks wait but as I liked the property I waited. One the day I got a call to say the property was taken!!!! Well to anyone who is thinking of putting a property on with them don’t !!!! I am a professional person who was looking for 5 years rental. 2 years I was paying up front. The poor service and rudeness of the office staff answering phones was unbelievable.
