The worst estate agents in Leicester Moore And York. There unreliable and utterly careless, lack of professionalism and organisation, giving misleading information they don't care about there clients. Any time try to ask for clarification or raise concerns, I was met with defensive and indifference rather then help. There very unhelpful attitude is dismissive there customer service is far below what you would expect from a professional estate agent. I would strongly advise others be cautious before dealing with them, because Communication, Honesty, and Reliability are not there priorities at Moore and York Leicester. Worst ever Estate agent dealt with.

We came from Ukraine because of the Russian invasion and it was quite hard for us to find a property to rent because not all agencies would like to work with foreigners. I would like to say thank Moore and York Lettings for their professional and friendly attitude, especially Claire, who supported us during all stages, explained us everything. As the buyer of a property listed with Moore and York we were quite disappointed throughout. It feels like their only priority is the seller, but I suppose that’s where they make their money so it’s understandable. The two stars are because we did complete on the purchase and the keys were delivered to the house in person at a time that was convenient for us.

I had a fantastic experience with Moore & York and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. The team were brilliant throughout, professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Jason, who carried out the valuation, was knowledgeable and reassuring, setting the tone for a smooth process. Beth, the sales progressor, kept me updated regularly and was always available to answer any questions, her communication was excellent and made a real difference. Terral, the director, was also hands-on and did some of the accompanied viewings himself, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to see that level of involvement and commitment. Nik, the sales manager, was also fantastic, approachable, efficient, and clearly experienced. The whole team worked together seamlessly, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you all!

M&Y sold our bungalow within three days of it going on the market. The purchasers were living abroad. It was extremely frustrating at times, (to say the least) not only with the time difference but with the potential buyers too. However Nik went above and beyond, handling it all with tact, tenacity and professionalism. He was always extremely friendly and his advice was invaluable. He kept us unformed every step of the way, and was very supportive. The buyers pulled out after nine months and so it went back on the market and again sold within 3 days, this time the sale went through. The team, including Charlotte, have been thoughtful and caring and I would definitely recommend them.

After suffering cognitive damage from a major stroke I endured several failed attempts to sell my property with another estate agent, this year I turned to York and Moore, just 13 weeks on we completed the sale today, the whole experience has been a breath of fresh air, when compared to what had gone on before, the whole team were patient and professional and most importantly they delivered on what they said, to the timeframe that they committed to, while this was obviously a business transaction I always felt they had my best interests at heart. This letting agency clearly discriminates against non-UK nationals. I dealt with Emily, at the Loughborough branch. First, she let me to believe that I could apply for a tenancy. Then she disappeared and would not get back to me (emails or phone calls). Then I got a phone call from one of her colleagues informing me that the flat I wanted had been let to somebody else. Well, that was not true. Two days later I saw the property advertised again at a discount on right move. Moore and York preferred to discount a property rather than to let it to me, a professional single woman but not UK resident. Unbelievable. DO NOT USE THESE AGENTS IF YOU CAN

I found a flat through this agency in Leicester originally after having a hard time with my previous agency in Oxford. Since then the staff at Moore & York have been not only professional, helpful & also timely in terms of helping to arrange anything that needs it, but also have been always friendly, kind and understanding which is a welcome respite after my previous experience.
