This is the second time that we have used Moore and York estate agents to sell our property...our satisfaction with the company the first time around in 2016 led us to appoint them again in 2025 without seeking to appoint any of the competition. All of their members of staff with whom we had contact with were truly magnificent in helping us to sell our bungalow.... this includes Terral,John,Nik,George,and Beth. A word of advice to those wanting to sell their existing property in a reasonable time particularly if the funds from the sale of that property are needed to finance their next property purchase... ..................."BE PREPARED TO NEGOTIATE..!" There is absolutely no point in putting your property on the market for it then to languish for weeks and months at a higher price that runs counter to any reasonable pricing advice that have previously been given to you by your appointed estate agent...." I recently purchased a bungalow through Moores and York Estate Agents in Leicester, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of their service. I rent and my landlady uses Moore & York and they are the best letting agent I have ever experienced. I have rented over 10 houses with various letting agents and hands down these are the best. We were very happy with the service Jason, Terral, Nik, Cheryl and the rest of the team provided during the sale of our house. Jason’s photographs really made the online presence of our house stand out from the crowd. Viewings were very professionally done by Jason & Terral. Their communications were great throughout they were very helpful when advice was required by ourselves. Everyone at Moore and York seems to be really helpful and very quick with responses on email or on the phone, however Natasha never seems to do anything, every time I email her regarding something someone else always replies as she clearly just doesn’t deal withit herself, every-time I call for her shes always out of the office or gone for the day, I would definitely recommend using Moore and York but would highly recommend not to contact Natasha and contact the others in the office.

I have recently moved into a property managed by Moore & York. It is my first time renting, having lived with my parents up until this point. Rabia was fantastic in helping me with the moving process. She was very patient with all the questions I had in regards the renting/application process and patient with my guarantors, who aren't very savvy when it comes to online applications. On the day of receving the keys to my new home Rabia was even more brilliant talking me through the tenancy & legal documents. All this information and support made the process of leaving home a little less stressful and daunting as I felt like I had fully understood what was expected from me as a tenant. The team at Moore and York have all been excellent in handling the sale of a property in Oadby for the estate of which we are the executors. Senior Valuer John Waters provided a probate valuation very quickly and efficiently which enabled probate to be granted with minimum delay. All the sales team were very good in arranging viewings and negotiating with potential buyers. We are especially grateful to Sales negotiator Beth Taylor who was professional, pleasant and a high quality communicator throughout a process which was more challenging than originally anticipated. M&Y sold our bungalow within three days of it going on the market. The purchasers were living abroad. It was extremely frustrating at times, (to say the least) not only with the time difference but with the potential buyers too. However Nik went above and beyond, handling it all with tact, tenacity and professionalism. He was always extremely friendly and his advice was invaluable. He kept us unformed every step of the way, and was very supportive. The buyers pulled out after nine months and so it went back on the market and again sold within 3 days, this time the sale went through. The team, including Charlotte, have been thoughtful and caring and I would definitely recommend them.

This letting agency clearly discriminates against non-UK nationals. I dealt with Emily, at the Loughborough branch. First, she let me to believe that I could apply for a tenancy. Then she disappeared and would not get back to me (emails or phone calls). Then I got a phone call from one of her colleagues informing me that the flat I wanted had been let to somebody else. Well, that was not true. Two days later I saw the property advertised again at a discount on right move. Moore and York preferred to discount a property rather than to let it to me, a professional single woman but not UK resident. Unbelievable. DO NOT USE THESE AGENTS IF YOU CAN

I have been very impressed with the service provided by the team at Moore & York, Granby Street, Leicester. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. My property sold within 2 days of going on the market for the full asking price. They kept me informed of progress on a weekly basis, answered any questions I had, and even my solicitor was impressed with their tenacity in keeping track of progress and chasing up any delays.
