The main asset of Bettermove is its people. They are helpful, considerate and caring as they know a house sale is extremely important to its owner(s) and the staff work very hard to help promote a sale. Theo Gains kept me constantly in touch with what was happening at every step on the way- thank you Theo.

I’ve had a great experience with bettermove mostly due to Julia sillers who has been a constant help throughout the sale of my late mothers property. Having a member of staff helping me who is knowledgeable, approachable, and most of all sincere to my situation has been a huge help both practically and emotionally, and without her guidance would have made a bad situation all that much worse. With professional staff like Julia working for bettermove I have no doubt I will be using them again.

Couldnt fault bettermove staff they have all been very helpful. Julia has been excellent and has done everything we have asked with regards to the property including putting it on propertypal when we asked was calling her all the time. Only advertised our house since March and had an offer from an investor and now have sale agreed. Brilliant in such a short time so no big commission to pay. Excellent value for money . Excellent service from Julia at Bettermove. We were initially starting to get cold feet after a couple of months as although we had had a number of viewings on the property we didn't have any offers and we thought it wasn't the right time to sell at the price we had it up for. But Julia was very reassuring and asked us to give it a third month - not only did we get 1 offer but we got a 2nd through on the same day and sold for the exact amount we needed. We had previously tried to sell the property on a couple of occasions but hadn't succeeded so we were absolutely delighted that Julia managed to sell within 3 months - and for the price we wanted. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.

If I could give no stars I would! I echo the words of another reviewer.I had Rory and Corey Jenkins tell me things that are not true to get me to sign up and then not cancel within my 14 day cooling off period.Instead of joining Bettermove, spend your £1000 on a holiday or a bottle of Champagne and then pay what you will have to to get someone else to sell your property after that. You’ll be happier in the long run!On the phone Rory, Claire manning, Julia Sillers and Julia Miller were rude and unprofessional at different times after I had no option of stopping the service. Before then they were polite and seemed helpful. I say seemed, as they only wanted money for nothing.I have written records/evidence that they did not tell me the truth at crucial points and yet they maintain they are a reputable and professional company.Steer well clear! After looking at other reviews, this company is either one extreme or another- excellent or diabolical. What I can be sure of is their comfort with saying anything they want to get custom is unacceptable and my complaint will be going to the ombudsman.Bettermove- you seem to reply to positive comments only- maybe you should honour the words that I received today, which is that you ‘listen to all feedback, whether it is positive or negative, to improve as a company’? Maybe you should do as you state and do it consistently - not just when you feel like it and when it is easy? Your clear actions of picking and choosing who you reply to is demonstrative of your business conduct.

An appalling level of customer service. I have been trying to collect a refund from the company for 6 months. Despite going through the proper complaints procedure and receiving a cheque . Bettermove STOPPED PAYMENT of the cheque and have deliberately ignored emails and phone calls from myself to resolve the issue since . Do not use this company! Even before the trouble I had collecting the money owed to me , I was unhappy with the service. The company claimed they had buyers already interested in my property. This was not the case! I had no potential buyer or viewing through the use of this company.After several months of attempting contact bettermove as well as going through the ombudsman, Bettermove contacted me. A gentleman called Harry promised me we be would get the money refunded and sent his apologises for what had happened. Harry was honest with me and worked hard to ensure I received what I was owed. This money is now repaid. Thank you to Harry for ensuring that Betermove fulfilled their contracts expectations.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Just use your common sense and ignore the sales pitch. Investors waiting to buy? Everything goes through Rightmove and people get notifications when properties in the area they want to buy comes up, that's the cold hard truth. If you want to make sure then get them to let you speak to sellers who have used their private investor service before. Speak to some of these "pre-approved" buyers. It simply is not true. Just an elaborate hoax, a figment of their imagination. Ignore the bad reviews they will tell you, especially Adam Burge, who is a total fraudster. Don't pay for a service you have not yet received. We all want it to be true that their are all these investor cash buyers who don't give a hoot about seeing the place, they got millions to spend and will just splash the cash. It's all false, but of course don't believe me, waste your time then you too will be writing your own "Avoid at all costs" review.

Very disappointing. Would not cancel my contract even though it was with in the 15 days. I just paid for a service that I was getting for free from my other two agents. They just copied my property detail from the web site which the other agent took., and put it on there web site. The only response from the manager Rory was I am not going to get my money back. On topOf that I am paying interest. I was promised my property will be sold 4 weeks it's been 4 week now. No sale or offer or anyone to call and say whats going on.

Despite a rocky start when my details were not approved so I presumed the company did not want to market my house, until I received a bill !Once that was sorted and i did approve the details, I found it very easy to deal with them, although trying to get through to 'your' negotiator was sometimes difficult and frustrating. Once the sale was agreed Julia was very professional in her advise and help, she has subsequently followed up 1 week later to see how we are and if we have settled into our new home, which I thought very highly of.

BEWARE- Bettermove contacted me out of the blue advising me that 4 investors were interested in buying my property. Corey Jenkins was eager to get the signed paperwork within 15 minutes. I was told that I would only pay their fees if and once my property sells and that an account manager would deal with everything and be in touch on Monday. I did not hear anything and rang because I started to have doubts. I could not get hold of Corey nor did he respond to my emails. Julia Miller only responded once. I cancelled my instructions within 14 days due to the lack of communication. I contacted Bettermove again for the confirmation of my order finally Julia responded that she would look into it-6 weeks on heard nothing from her. Senior members promised call backs and once again I chased more empty promises. How they work is that they make you sign a finance agreement . The finance company gives them the money upfront then you are tied into making monthly payments to the finance company. If you approve the brochure which is basically images of your property which your existing estate agent has taken because they target properties which are already listed on the main property websites. All I can advise is that please, please be careful before giving your instructions to Bettermove. Once you sign that finance agreement you will not hear from them. They do not honour their promise of selling your property. They lure you in by saying that they have lined up buyers in my case 4 interested investors. How they obtain your personal details is not clear nor have they clarified that for me. I feel that they have not been transparent and will escalate the matter. Once again, please do not get sucked in by their sale pitch and do not sign anything! They play on that fact that you are selling your property and the stress associated with it. Please sell your property with a trusted estate agent who communicates with you and does what they have promised from the outset.
