Despite a rocky start when my details were not approved so I presumed the company did not want to market my house, until I received a bill !Once that was sorted and i did approve the details, I found it very easy to deal with them, although trying to get through to 'your' negotiator was sometimes difficult and frustrating. Once the sale was agreed Julia was very professional in her advise and help, she has subsequently followed up 1 week later to see how we are and if we have settled into our new home, which I thought very highly of.

BEWARE- Bettermove contacted me out of the blue advising me that 4 investors were interested in buying my property. Corey Jenkins was eager to get the signed paperwork within 15 minutes. I was told that I would only pay their fees if and once my property sells and that an account manager would deal with everything and be in touch on Monday. I did not hear anything and rang because I started to have doubts. I could not get hold of Corey nor did he respond to my emails. Julia Miller only responded once. I cancelled my instructions within 14 days due to the lack of communication. I contacted Bettermove again for the confirmation of my order finally Julia responded that she would look into it-6 weeks on heard nothing from her. Senior members promised call backs and once again I chased more empty promises. How they work is that they make you sign a finance agreement . The finance company gives them the money upfront then you are tied into making monthly payments to the finance company. If you approve the brochure which is basically images of your property which your existing estate agent has taken because they target properties which are already listed on the main property websites. All I can advise is that please, please be careful before giving your instructions to Bettermove. Once you sign that finance agreement you will not hear from them. They do not honour their promise of selling your property. They lure you in by saying that they have lined up buyers in my case 4 interested investors. How they obtain your personal details is not clear nor have they clarified that for me. I feel that they have not been transparent and will escalate the matter. Once again, please do not get sucked in by their sale pitch and do not sign anything! They play on that fact that you are selling your property and the stress associated with it. Please sell your property with a trusted estate agent who communicates with you and does what they have promised from the outset.

There were bump rides throughout the journey of purchasing the property in Barking. I would suggest there are room for improvements. However, don't want to mark you down given the continuous support/actions from Rory and Julia.

They will push you to pay right away If u want a guaranteed headache on selling your house, this company will provide you. All the bad reviews seema to be reported so its hidden but what a waste of time and money. They were so eager to make me pay for their service and lied to me about their service. 6 months of waiting for refund . There is a cooling off so beware of this company.

The service I received from Bettermove was outstanding. I hadn't had any previous good experiences with Estate Agents, however I felt extremely supported all the way through the sale process, the professionalism was amazing and I would highly recommend Bettermove to assist you with the selling/purchasing of your property. I would like to mention Mr Joseph Emerson, he dealt with everything from start to finish, not like many agents Jo was straight to the point and honest which is extremely difficult to find these days, he is certainly experienced, professional,definitely one of the best Senior agents I have ever had the pleassure of doing business with. We've had to contact Bettermove multiple times throughout the year to address their repeated use of our photos and floorplans, materials we’ve invested time and money into creating. Despite knowing their actions are wrong, they deliberately alter our floorplans to obscure our watermark and claim the work as their own. If you're thinking of working with this agent, be aware that there are many ethical agents who respect others' intellectual property and take pride in creating their own marketing materials. Bettermove is not one of them.
