Our experience was very professional and Julia was very approachable and always called back if she wasn’t available. We had a better experience with BetterMove than any other estate agents and we had some bad issues. They did what they said they would do. We had issues at the end of our selling and Julia came through for us and manage to get things sorted and completed.i would and have recommended BetterMove to others and praised Julia with her professionalism. I must admit I was skeptical at first because it simply sounded too good to be true BUT how wrong was I. I’ve had the best experience with these guys every single person I spoke to from start to finish have been so lovely, helpful and patient with me asking questions and being worried about the process but nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged all of the viewings which was amazing and they got them booked in so efficiently, they respond so quick to emails and they sold my house so quickly for a very good price! You really can’t go wrong with the service they provide and I’m so so happy I found them to sell my house. I would use them again in a heartbeat, thank you so so much for everything you’re all great!

When I first contacted Bettermove I was greeted by Julia who was very helpful and friendly from the outset. She enabled me to place my property online for sale with ease and I had viewings lined up within the first couple of weeks.Once I had agreed a sale with a buyer it was full steam ahead to get my property sold as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it took around 8 months to get my property to complete with the buyer however this was at no fault of Julia. There were multiple issues on the buyers side which held up this sale. Throughout the 8 months Julia kept me up to date, reassured me and persevered. Issues included the buyer making a last minute decision to open a business account, gaining the mortgage and use of inexperienced solicitors. Unfortunately the buyers mislead Bettermove on being serious investors. My experience with Bettermove is that you clearly employ outstanding staff and I couldnt’t recommend Julia enough.My only feedback would be that Bettermove need to adjust the company policy and ‘vet’ your investors more thoroughly to ensure they are serious buyers.

What a great experience - over the years we used traditional estate agents to sell our houses. I am so glad we took the plunge to change to a digital online service. Initially I was sceptical of online services, but I am so delighted with how proactive the team was, how straightforward and stress free the processes were. Genuine review as I'm sitting here in new home after completing today. Ive moved with estate agents and then i moved with bettermove - the difference is astonishing. Bettermove secured a buyer for my house within a matter of weeks, less than a month. They were truly fantastic to deal with. Julia led the sale start to finish, no job ever too much, she was chasing and pushing each aspect of conveyancing. Julia was kind, professional and really made me feel taken care of. Seriously do not hesitate to sell your house with bettermove.

After what we thought would be an easy sale, it turned out that with a pandemic that was not going to happen. With that a very difficult buyer Julia was AMAZING! Throughout the process as the buyer I felt like she was on my side helping us navigate this difficult and very stressful process. She put up with my frustration and was not only professional but personable and kind. Thank you Julia, I know it wasn’t easy but we got there in the end and if we do ever sell a property again I will 100% come to you first (if you’ll have me)

Hi - I would like to commend Julia for her perseverance and professionalism. I did not sell my property through this agent but I was a first time buyer at the bottom of a chain, Julia was managing the sale at the top. I had a deadline where exchange and completion were concerned due to the need to move out of temporary accommodation before Christmas. This was made clear to Julia and she worked with her client to achieve the desired outcome. Despite my doubts we were ever going to exchange, at the 11th hour it all went through! Thank you Julia.

If I have the opportunity to give 0 feedback I would have done that. Adam burge called and explained that they wanted to sell my property for me however, i will have to pay an upfront fee of £80 and if my property doesn’t sell after 6 months there is money back guarantee which he sent an email confirming that. They wanted an upfront fee, which I was told would be refunded if they didn’t sell my house in 6 months. Property went on the market and we had not a single view. We called and question that and later decided to take if off the market. Claire told us even if we take it off the market we are still later to pay the fees. At the end of the agreed 6 months, Bettermove removed my property from advertising , and detailed that it was in the terms of the agreement. When I asked for the advertising refund, they refused although it was specifically detailed in the agreement. Emails ignored calls unanswered. Had to follow their complaints procedure, which is long and slow - and they have failed to follow their own complaints procedure by stalling and ignoring my correspondence.They use a loan credit company dividebuy and they warned us that if we stop the payment it will affect our credit rating. We have now proceed to property ombudsman. Please be aware and avoid them. They are scammers.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. What cowboys!Conversation started with one of better moves colleagues, he knew I was selling my grandma house and we was after a quick easy sale. He offered £131k knowing the property is potentially a ‘flying freehold’. Survey booked for this Thursday but all of a sudden someone high up in bettermove called me saying we might not be able to offer the £131k completely out of the blue and planting seeds of doubt in my mind. After I started explaining to him what his colleague has offered he told me I was wrong. I explained I would be speaking to the property ombudsman and just like that he told me to F off and said he was buying the house and put the phone down. Unfortunately for better move every call with them was through Microsoft teams which was recorded and I will be taking this to the property ombudsman and seeking legal advice. STAY AWAY if you want to sell you house quick contact goodmove.co.uk
We also record our calls so please allow me to set the record straight. Seb made you an offer on your Grandmas house of £131k, and sent you a confirmation email stating that the offer is subject to survey. At this stage we haven’t had a survey done so we don’t know if there are any issues at the property, other than the flying freehold which you told us about and we are aware of. You called the following day and told a member of staff that you ‘hadn’t heard from anyone for days’ even though we had spoken to you the previous day and sent you a confirmation email advising you we were organising a survey.On Monday 28 February we called to advise you that the survey had been booked in for this Thursday. At this point Senior management called you to remind you that the offer was provisional and subject to survey, with which you responded ‘Seb tried to sell me the dream, now you are selling me a nightmare” to which we explained that all our offers are subject to survey because we haven’t inspected the house yet, and we clarified that as long as there was no severe issues then we would be proceeding as normal and that we would look into the flying freehold issues with the solicitors and get back to you ‘within a couple of hours’. You then called back an hour later and started making threats to Seb about lawyers and the Ombudsman, so Senior management called you and and explained that the last conversation was that we were looking into the flying freehold and that was still the case, and we are concerned as to why threats are being made, to which you then made further threats and the call was ended. At no point did anyone swear at you, this is a completely false and libellous accusation.We feel it is important to be totally honest and transparent with customers upfront rather than misleading people and leading them down the wrong path, which is why we disclose this information in advance of the survey. You haven’t been messed about, you haven’t wasted any time or delays, nobody has renegotiated the price with you, all we have done is explain that the offer we make is subject to survey. For that you are criticising us.Yes, we have pulled the plug on dealing with you, not because of the property or the price, but because of your behaviour, aggresive manner and the way you have conducted yourself to different members of our team.

I needed to sell my house quickly and got in touch with Bettermove. I Dealt with Julia Sillers who managed the sale and she managed to get a me a viewing after just one week. The house we were after fell through so our move was off and Julia kindly cancelled the contract to sell our house with no charge. Highly recommend this company and when we do decide to move I will be returning to them.

Would not sign up with this company if my life depended upon it. Lots of 'hard sell' and promises of buyers/investors just waiting to buy our property. The communicated very well during this time and the cooling off period. Once the cooling off period had ended there was an odd cursory call ( even though we asked for weekly updates). One was to ask our rentable value !! ( surely as estate agent they would know better than us?) Not one offer or viewing. Told they marketed in more places than Rightmove... where I wonder? PBe very careful as it's a £1,000 wasted. Going to report them to the Financial Ombudsman and the Trading Standards Office as have. Asked for a refund
