I purchased a house through Bettermove and dealt with Julia. She was excellent throughout the process from booking the viewings, to chasing up progress with the solicitors to get the sale through. She was always at the other end of the phone if needed and responded to emails quickly. Would recommend Bettermove for selling and purchasing.

We went with Bettermove based on a recommendation. The price they offered was fair and within 2 weeks we had a buyer. Throughout they were in regular contact keeping us updated. When we were delayed due to problems with our purchase, Bettermove contributed to our storage costs to ensure the sale succeeded when there was a possibility of the chain collapsing. We have been happy with the level of service and the positive manner of the staff at Bettermove.

YellPause before you sign - it will not be as simple as you first thought…
APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! BE aware that they are not going to honour the price they ‘offer’ you and you are NOT selling to investors who will make a quick decision. The same as a regular agent and with no guarantees of a ‘quick sale’ That said - the staff are lovely and responsive so really depends on your situation. They will not be experts in your specific area so maybe a local agent can give you a better feel for the market given your personal circumstances…

Please be careful when dealing with this company. They may come across friendly at start but so far my experience is that sales progression team are Rude and ignorant They hold your money and won’t refund youTheir technique is to pass the customer between each other saying not my responsibility The delay tactics they use is very obvious! I won’t be looking at any property with their name as agent.

We’re buying a property via bettermove and so far, they’ve been pretty good to work with. The early stage of viewing to offer acceptance was as you’d expect but it’s following acceptance that we’ve been impressed. We’re dealing with Theo who never takes long to come back to you, always addresses any concerns and stays on top of everyone involved in the transaction. He doesn’t come across like he’s solely trying to get the best deal for his vendor which makes us feel better about the whole process. We’re yet to exchange/complete but that doesn’t seem to be anything to do with Theo or bettermove. In fact I think the process would have taken a lot longer had they not been so proactive and collaborative. Would definitely look at using them for future transactions.

Provided the best possible support to place our property on sale and a sale agreement organised within a month time as informed. Friendly and helpful staff. No service charges or solicitor fees to be paid by the seller, instead that will be covered from the price of the property above the agreed price with bettemove. I am hoping to get everything sorted by bettermove as I am at the very early stage of my sale process, so far so good. Definitely suggest to anyone who is able to agree a suitable sale price with bettermove. Very keen to get things moved as quickly as possible as there is dedicated staff supporting the paperwork requirements.Needs improvement in providing viewing feedback to the seller is something that bettermove should look into.

The guys that pitched up for my move were brilliant (Steve & Howard). The weather was appalling but they got the job done...almost. I returned to my old house to lock up to find several items that had been left in the utility room that had been bagged up and a pile of clothes in the bedroom. I filled my car with the items that were left which was a little disappointing given how hard the guys worked.

Keep deleting my honest review.Terrible communication. Sell you the deal, even money back guarantee, which I suggest you read the smaller small print! One couple viewing informed us that they had tried to arrange a viewing for 2 weeks! There is a reason why there are high street estate agents, and bettermove is one of them
