Bettermove cold called me back in August, as I was having trouble selling my flat. I had my flat up for less than a week with them and had viewings arranged almost immediately. The third viewing was the one. She put in an offer for the asking price and 6 months later I have completed.Ben and Julie are very helpful, supportive and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even when I was having issues with my tenant they remained calming throughout the process.I would thoroughly recommend Bettermove as an online estate agent and would definitely use them again.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid - to make you sign documents you will be told totally different information to what it is that you signup to. The sales approach is geared on telling you one thing to make you sign documents that are geared at tying you in to a circa £1000 fee. The cancellation process will be explained as 14 days yet you will have unknowingly signed in to some random broucher excepted clause. They will tell you one thing on the phone which is very different to what you are receiving. Try and cancel and you are lead through a series of delayed emails and barriers were you will still be held to ransom with only the ombudsman as your life line to come back to.

Good contact from Ben , Clare and Julia, I don't think buyers go to high street estate agent as much as they used to to look in the window as online is so much easier and I would expect cheaper, Bettermove links with all main search engines, staff are very helpful and costs are reasonable.Compared with some years ago using high street estate agents this was a much better platform to reach potential buyers ...or seemed it to me, Bettermove ...The best move you'll make.

Bettermove we’re good at selling our house. Although it took a little longer than expected they were still confident at getting a buyer. They did what they said found the buyer and the house was sold in just under 12 weeks. Although we had Christmas and New Year thrown In the middle of the sale.Although some of the communication was a bit lacking at times they said they would find a buyer and they kept to there word.

In my experience, this company do not deliver on what they say, I'd recommend you avoid at all cost.I was contacted by them repeatedly to move my house sale from my estate agent, informing me they had a panel of investors and my property would be sold through them very quickly and at a higher price. They charged me their full fee up front, then failed to get any viewings. Nor did their 'panel of investors' come to anything.Fortunately, an earlier viewer through my previous estate agent came back after a few months and I accepted their offer.Bettermove refused to refund, or even discuss, claiming the property had been sold, and, as per their terms and conditions, they are entitled to their full fee regardless of their involvement.They talk a good game but I found they have no substance. They convinced me I'd be better off giving them £1,000 up front rather than paying an estate agent. Yet, despite not selling my property, refuse to refund.

Very helpful but had to do alot myself, awkward with not living in the area I sold, had to get an old neighbour to do the showings and hold the keys. Don't think the amount they charged was worth it. Alas most of the time I couldn't get hold of Julia as she was never there and I had to constantly chase feedback from viewings. I would never recommend Bettermove. I only actually saved 900 pounds and it cost me a he'll of a lot in phone calls.

Guided through what was a very stressful transaction by my account manager Julia. She has been absolutely fantastic throughout the process, she went above and beyond chasing solicitors, management companies, councils for info to complete. She is always available to speak to on the phone and will call you back within an hour every time. Always will find answers to questions and help in any way she can! Excellent customer service!

Tried booking a sales viewing twice through this Estate Agent and twice they haven’t got back to me with a date and time. I gave them plenty of availability and still waiting for a viewing. They are obviously not that botherd about selling it. Feel sorry for who ever the seller is!

Hi Jade, when we book a viewing its not just down to your availability, we must also get the availability of the person who lives at the property. In this case the property you enquired about is tenanted as we explained to you when you called on the 14th and the 19th. There are also another 8 people who wish to view it that we are trying to book in. Once we have heard back from the tenant we will call you and book you in. We are not legally allowed to just turn up and let ourselves in when a property is tenanted. I appreciate this might be frustrating for you, but it doesn’t warrant a one star review when we are simply following due process.

I certainly would not recommend this estate agency. I was told there were seven people looking at a flat I was interested in. When I asked the person showing me round how many people were viewing, she said there was just me. I made an offer and surprisingly enough, someone from abroad had done the same. (I don’t think in retrospect) . I put the same offer in as the fictitious person had, but they accepted my offer, as I was in this country. They than asked me to put £1000 down so that I couldn’t be gazumped!! What a joke. I do wanted the flat, I ignored my own instincts. My solicitor advised me not to go ahead. They refused to return my deposit. I did receive an email saying it would be refunded on completion of the sale. No where did it say I wouldn’t be refunded. I discussed this matter with a litigation solicitor, who said I had a good case. However, his legal fees were quite expensive. I emailed Bettermove and the responded saying they would contact me in 15 days. No response!!

The house went on sale, pictures done, all pain free. Bettermove sell a different way so you agree a price in advance that you want and anything over that they keep towards fees etc. The team kept us up to date, moved viewings along quickly and we sold in just under 4 weeks. I would absolutely recommend the team to anyone selling their home.

Do not do business with this company. They will take your money, quite procedures and policies and not give you any great service unless you co operate.I was able to cancel my agreement within the normal 14 days and get a refund. They said it would take 28 days to get a refund by cheque (even though I have paid my credit card).I still do not have my money back.They have not returned calls or emails and hiding behind their computer screens, not taking any responsibility Also - when I ring several times in a day to speak to the manager - different people cover up for him. For example - I was told he is on another cll and will call me back. Never received a call and when I rang next time, I was told he is on annual leave.How unprofessional can a company be - this is pure and simple lying and manipulation.Please also ignore the comment below as I had to call daily to get my money back, which actually did not come in one go as they were care,ess and made a mistake, and never once did this company return calls or provide the refund hassle free. They are out to grab your money and do not honour their own policies and timeframes.AVOID at all costs!
