Keep deleting my honest review.Terrible communication. Sell you the deal, even money back guarantee, which I suggest you read the smaller small print! One couple viewing informed us that they had tried to arrange a viewing for 2 weeks! There is a reason why there are high street estate agents, and bettermove is one of them

This was a new formula for us, in terms of us having to pay a returnable deposit at the outset to the Estate Agent. But in truth, it shows a level of committment both sides, and although this was a protracted purchase both Julia and Theo at Bettermove were excellent, always on the case and always up to speed. Highly recommended.

There is no way I could recommend this company. Very poor service like others have reported very quick to take your money but very slow to return it. Very poor customer service. I cancelled within the 14 days but it was a real struggle to get my money back. My advice is stay simply away

I was contacted by Bettermove (Adam Burge) who told me my property was undervalued and that he had investors waiting to buy my property within weeks. All I had to do as pay their fee up front or set up a monthly direct debit. I told him my preferred option would be to pay him the full amount on completion. He quickly lost interest in my property. Work the rest out for yourselves.

Unfortunately you have to give a star otherwise I would leave it blank. The tone of the communication and behaviours leave me astounded. I am in property myself and have a company solicitor so I am taking advice, and I will also be reporting this to the ombudsman and any other necessary parties.
Dear Julie Gibson. You have written this review in response to the correspondence we sent you via our legal department after we discovered that you sold your property directly to a buyer (Judith Doherty) that we introduced, to cut us out of the deal. We have all the documented proof and evidence, as you know, and we will be pursuing this matter further. We are not a charity and don’t tolerate dishonest people. Please make sure that you let the 'necessary parties' know how you conduct your business.

I wish I had seen John Lewis review before I signed up my experience was exactly the same. I could expect investors waiting sold and completed within 30 days what a load of lies. Not one person in 26 days has asked to view the property and within a week they wanted to reduce the price. I used the 14 day change your mind to stop them from marketing the house but they are clinging on until the end. Contacted the solicitors regarding Bettermove today, they are a complete sham do not use as soon as you do the story changes no investors but will sell just like an ordinary estate agent. I agree they must be on a bonus to sign people up they are absolutely desperate not to let you go. Trading Standards should also be made aware of these practises and then they can do something about it

I was misled from the start. Selling my house which needed work, I was told about their hundreds of investors who were looking for properties like mine. I was sent people who were expecting something completely different. A waste of everyone’s time. Phone calls and emails weren’t returned. I was never sent the terms of business. I could go on endlessly. Avoid
