Froze the hole thing thing we got sorted and a wee call put everything back on once we had got our new home sorted. Kept us upto date with viewers and job was sorted within a couple of months. TrustpilotDishonest from start to finish.
3 months into their 4-6 weeks of completion I managed to get out of their sale. Dishonest from start to finish. On the initial phone call I was told they had cash buyers waiting and it would be completed in 4-6 weeks. This was a lie, they offer you a small amount to then drag out a sale where they act as a middle man. Even when I was asking about pulling out I was passed around, no one knew of any cancellation fees, no one could tell me the process. After 3 months of excuses, lies and delays I finally managed to pull out only to then be told that they are "discounting" my cancellation fee from 15k to 4.5k. I reluctantly paid 2.25k on poor advice from the property ombudsman with which there is a case still pending. Thankfully after the 1st phone call, all of our correspondence were via email so I have proof of their lies.

Was seriously looking at buying an apartment they were advertising.First time I arranged viewing, told they had keys and gave appointment. No confirmation. Called on another day, no record of original appointment. Again told they had keys and booked appointment for very same day. Later, asked to come early. Arrived 20 minutes early, using public transport. Absolutely freezing cold. Agent then calls to cancel claiming they now don’t have the keys.A TOTALLY UNRELIABLE AND USELESS COMPANY. DEFINITELY NOT TO BE USED FOR A “BETTER MOVE”. PERFECT IF YOU DONT WANT TO MOVE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNEDOn 30th December the Operations Manager of Bettermove contacted me purportedly in an attempt to apologise. In fact he simply wanted to lay blame 100% on a third party company they use for viewings. He claimed and was adamant that Bettermove was in no way to blame. When I plainly explained that as the estate agents blame stops with them, he ended up arguing claiming that Bettermove was in the right and then proceeded to offer me a bribe if I removed this review immediately. When I declined, the discussion became heated. To end the conversation I informed him that I was no longer interested in the property and my review will remain. To this he said that it would in fact be good if I no longer proceeded in any way with the property.AGAIN, BEWARE OF USING THESE ESTATE AGENTS.

A different way to sell a property but it works. We agreed the price we would receive and Bettermove takes any amount above the agreed price. They pay all the legal fees. They quickly found a buyer but this buyer couldn’t complete. However a second buyer was found quickly but the selling process took longer than expected but this was due to the slowness of the buyers solicitor. Overall a good selling experience and I would recommend Bettermove to sell your property.
