This estate agent wasted our time due to which we are unable to secure a mortgage due to the interest rate hike. They didn't keep us updated with the vendors intentions leading to us bearing a loss far greater than what can be covered through losses alone. Please don't trust them!!

We understand your frustrations and we are equally as frustrated that your seller decided to pull out of the sale at the last minute. We have spent considerable time and money dealing with this matter and have actively progressed the sale right up to the point of exchange at which point your seller decided that they no longer wanted to sell it to you. I’m not sure how we are responsible for the seller changing their minds. As soon as the sellers intentions were known we let you know. So it's untrue that we didn’t keep you updated.

We found the staff at Bettermove really professional, kind, helpful and understanding. They were always quick to support and help with resolving issues. The process took much longer than we expected and feel it would be nice to give new customers some idea of timescales and what to expect.

Complete and absolute waste of time. Made an appointment yesterday for today and staff who booked it stated that they would confirm it with the tenant and let me know. They also advised that there is one big family living in the house. This staff rang me yesterday to confirm the appointment and stated that they had checked with the tenant and 3pm today is fine. They then sent me two confirmation messages, one email yesterday and two reminders today. This staff member also advised myself that they are in the office on Sunday so any issues I could ring them. I showed up at the property at 2.59pm, knocked on the door and rang the bell and the tenant had absolutely no freaking clue! they looked confused and asked wth was going on. The next door neighbors came out and was just as surprised and also advised that it is not one family living in the house. I rang the office and their out of office team picked up and stated that they would check with the sales team and let me know but I believe they went to take a nap instead and nobody rang me back. I rang their useless team again after 10 to 15 minutes and this staff member kept repeating the same message like a robot and would not let me speak and kept saying she is an out of office staff and she cannot do anything. Came home after looking like a complete idiot because of this garbage letting agency. Someone then rang me and said I had left a message which I had not and then he was like my son is in the car with me well you are supposed to be at work not in your car with your son and then he said I am not in work then why on earth are you ringing me! Complete and utter waste of time.

Once you use Bettermove you will never want to use anyone else they take all the stress and worry away from you, you have to do nearly nothing they arrange everything !! The price they offered was very acceptable and that price is what you get . They are upfront and honest and communicate when they need to . Absolutely brilliant I will be telling my friends that are looking to sell to give these guys a ring you won’t be disappointed.

I was a little worried about using a company like this,but my property had been on the market for 8 months with hardly any interest,how wrong was I,within 24hrs we had 14 viewings arranged and 2 offers,I cannot thank these guys enough very professional and they keep you in the loop with every step of the way a really easy process. we are so grateful and would highly recommend.Thanks bettermove!!!

Terrible company. I paid £1000 just to reserve a property for a few days. (Ironically, they hail themselves as a 'no commission, no fees agent' - clearly false advertising). I was constantly emailed and pressured to let them know if I was proceeding. At no point did they state that the £1000 reservation fee permits me to 'hold' the property for 14 weeks, which they only mentioned after I logged an official complaint and even then, I was only told this information at the very last moment before taking the matter to the Property Ombudsman. My advice to anyone reading this is that they should use another company for their property needs. I do not believe the other reviews on here are genuine and I would encourage anyone reading this to check out this company on TrustPilot which shows their many negative reviews of their questionable tactics and procedures. The lady I was dealing with was Julia, however, none of the staff surnames appear on the website which shows how shoddy this operation is. I have never heard of an estate agent charging an extortionate fee of £1000 to hold a property for a few days once you have made an offer. Ludicrous!!!!

Excellent customer service, I spoke with a friendly guy called Rory, who booked me in for a viewing straightaway. I wish all other estate agents can be like him. He literally placed me on a brief hold and called the vendor and confirmed the viewing with me there and then. Highly recommended.

Avoid at All costs. We were told they had a portfolio of investors that would buy our property, infact they are just an online estate agent who reduce your property to sell and take a cut. Then if you try to remarket elsewhere because they have marketed it giving it market exposure at a lower price you get lower offers from Genuine house buying companies. Avoid

Very helpful and responsive company bit pushy to get you to pay holding deposit and it took a week after completion to get the money back. I would deal with this company again as a buyer and would consider listing a house for sale with them in the future too. Julia and Theo particularly helpful.

Avoid selling your property with them unless you’re desperate! Ridiculously high profit margin, I came away with even less than we originally agreed on, very poor communication (unless they need something from you) not even a quick sale. Really bad customer experience for me and I won’t be using them again.
