Just sold our house through Bridgfords and could not be happier. They offered fantastic value for money and were worth every penny we spent on them to see us through to completion. David began the process with a valuation that was both professional and personal and Richard oversaw the sale from there on. Communication at all stages was excellent and we felt incredibly well guided and supported by Richard throughout the process. If we ever come to sell again, we will be heading straight back to Bridgfords Withington. Huge thanks to the whole team for helping us sell and move!

I initially did not have a great experience with Bridgeford. No updates from them and when I did ring I would get passed around and wouldn't get much information on progress. But Sadaf changed that. She was professional and kept me up to date every step of the way. There were few hiccups down the line with the tenants and seller but she really made the experience stress-free and easy! This is the first time I have used Bridgfords Lettings in Withington and I have been dealing with Jessica and Isabelle. I have been very impressed with both Jessica and Isabelle. They are excellent! They secured tenants for me within a relatively short period of time. I felt that they really went out of their way to support me. Within a very short period of time, they built a very good relationship with me and I attribute this to their excellent interpersonal skills. I plan to work with them for some of my other properties and look forward to building a long term relationship with them. Thank you Jess, thank you Izzy!! I have recently bought a property with Bridgfords in Withington and I have dealt mainly with Sian. Overall, I have found the service both professional and friendly. Sian has kept me informed at all stages and has been pro active in dealing with some of the issues which were unforeseen. What I have appreciated the most is the “none pushy” approach by Bridgfords. There have been some delays with the completion; however, I was never pressurised in anyway and Sian remained supportive at all times.I would not hesitate to purchase additional properties through Bridgfords and would definitely recommend them for their excellent service. Since our very first conversation and meeting, the staff have kept me informed with daily updates regarding viewings and potential tenants. **Updated since new property manager** Rebecca, Senior Property Manager, has been really great to work with and always promptly responds to our emails, following up with polite and friendly phone calls if there is any delay from our end/to update us on issues. Issues are now resolved more quickly and we are kept in the loop with reasons if there are any delays. Old review for info: The Lettings team in Withington were really lovely, accommodating and friendly. However, the property management team that take over once you are inside the property have not been the best. Our property was not ready for move-in at the time we had agreed which was disappointing. There have been several change overs of staff with little to no handover of what is happening with the property which can be frustrating. There can also be quite a delay in hearing back from the team when issues are raised.

Very please with the service and result of selling my mother’s house via Bridgfords Swinton. Mike was knowledgeable and efficient. His sale price estimate was 20% higher than another local firm but he managed to achieve it. He also arranged to visit mum in her care home to complete the paperwork. Happy to recommend.

Branch staff good, conveyancing beyond horrendous

Started the journey of selling my flat with Bridgfords well, great listing, quickly found a buyer, then Bridgfords conveyancing service took over and was incompetent at every turn. 6 months on from accepting an offer I’ve had to end the sale as my mental health couldn’t handle anymore of the misleading, lies and gaslighting from their conveyancers. Was so bad even the branch staff said they were embarrassed at how bad it was.

If I could put 0 I would. My cousin gave notice that he was giving up the flat due to family and health issues. Before he was able to remove his things (within a week) they have taken his belonging and given only some clothing back. They have stolen a family air loom watch (Rolex) , cash that was for Christmas, not given back any expensive trainers .. they have drip fed some things back since like the tvs and yet to receive the Xbox, they have photos of his stuff on their report which they haven’t given back. They are not to be trusted . They are proceeding to trade non ethically and illegally. Reports to police have been made. They prey on vulnerable people

It will be all smiles and fake-help until you actually sign a contract to rent with them and then they become an absolute joke. Funnily enough, even the slightest bit of competence would have saved everyone (including them) a LOT more hassle with the experience we had. Stewart was the manager at the time and he was absolutely horrendous to deal with. His response to us being burgled after a few days of repeatedly trying to get him on the phone (the forensic officer said it could've been prevented because the door lock was not insurance grade and the burglar alarm did not go off, even though we had been repeatedly asking for it to be repaired) was 'oh well, everyone gets burgled', with 0 sympathy, and 0 rush to refund us for having to call out an emergency locksmith which could all have been avoided should they have actually responded to our messages about the door/alarm in the first place!! Very very glad we have now since moved on from them. The 1 star is to the one person who was left to clean up Stewart and co's mess at the end, but everyone else deserves 0. Please save yourself the hassle and AVOID renting here.

Recently, an excellent service has been provided by the Lettings Manager and his team. As a tenant, I feel like my needs are taken in to consideration and that I am a valued customer. The Lettings Manager and his team always listen to feedback and are excellent at providing help and support whenever it is needed. Improvements within the Property Management arm of the business have also been made, making it much easier to report problems and have them sorted. Overall, an excellent service from them.
